16. that is why if you want to modify a car, you modify a car you want to keep, not for resale.
    i bought a MK8 GTI 380 that i want to keep the resale up, so the only mods are intake, aluminum rad pipes, turbo inlet, turbo muffler delete and a JB4. it keeps the looks absolutely stock, just more fun to drive

    If u want to keep the cars vaule , keep it oem + and the older u are, tbe more insured the buyer will feel u took care of the car.

    Its usualy true but not always .

    The only time a modify car hold vaule is if it was modified by a designer garage aka rwb , singer custom Porsche and so on.

30. Yeah. Tbh. I brought my e46 M3s brand new back In 2006. It was stock until like 2012 and then it got a full cage lots of mods like a supercharger and is factory 6mt and emola red (I got into the detailing industry so it still looks the same as when It drove off the lot) Currently pushing 560whp. And still only 50k miles. Because I was in prison and for like 10 years I had a suspended license so I kept buying beaters to get seized by local PD. Saw one sell for 90k on BAT and I was considering mine but the cage and interior or lack thereof I know I won't get that for mine.

50. 12 owners isn't really a red flag as long as the service history is good. I bought a Saab with 14 previous owners for $2500. I owned it for 7 years, didn't service it for half of those because of my terrible economic situation at the time, replaced a thermostat and fuel pump, and then sold it on for $1000.
