😮Excellent video as usual! From what I see in comments some miss the point that sacrificing the smaller buds under the main cola gives you more growth to the main cola. The main cola will be larger by doing this so you're not losing anything and actually saving time in the tedious job of trimming. Win win. The commentators gold analogy doesn't work because he's not understanding that throwing away the small nuggets of gold will not make the bigger nuggets grow larger but sacrificing the bud sites on a stem under the main cola does make the main cola grow larger. That analogy only works if the main cola stayed the same size after you trimmed the lower bud sites off and the main colas didn't grow larger. Then it would be a waste of time, but that's not the case. The only scenario where I would think someone would benefit from growing all of the larf under the top canopy would be if they're wanting to harvest or wash for trichomes and aren't interested in nice dense buds.

I have a brother who is a gold prospector who finds lots of Gold.
Your grow style is like the gold prospector who throws away every nugget
of gold that weighs less then 2 grams.
Dose not seem logical to me.

I habe been asking myself, when the start of flower should be dated…🤔🧐
The problem with setting the date with the start of pistils showing, is that this way there is no way of telling, hoe long a plant will flower on a standard.
Since some growers get them flipped faster and others slower.
So saying a plant needs 8 months, could be 10 for others.
You know what I mean?
Germans need everything to have a norm that everyone uses😅😂

I have the same issue with my tips turning yellow like that, and thought it was light burn. So I’ve been paranoid (possibly over paranoid) about giving too much light.
Awesome episode. I leave the lights the same for a 3 – 5 days, then increase intensity to match the prior DLI. I do this just to them time to adjust to the new schedule before blasting with PAR. A week should be great as well!

I keep the lights higher and turn them up for the heat during veg. Electric bills be damned. They grow like mad if I can keep it low 80s/70% but I’m in the basement…..
