1. Grew up watching Hardcastle and Mccormick they drove the Coyote X which looks similar. Loosely based off the McLaren M6GT. Iconic 80's car, bringing back the memories. Think I would need to work on my Yoga to fit inside.

2. The ultima was used as a test sled for the custom stuff and suspension design for the mclaren f1. But were bespoke parts to mclaren. The slc by superlite is probably closer to the f1 tbh.

   The dream to recreate the same memories as for his son that he had with his dad now gone.

   It’s more than a 50% divorce rate these days, and in the end that money will have literally evaporated. Whereas if he had the car, the car is still there, needs tyres, some maintenance, but it will always be there. It won’t leave if its own accord because it doesn’t love you. Only a natural disaster would have it depart your life.

18. Gordon Murray was most likely the one who decided to use a random kit car as a test mule (in this case the ultima). 100% not a predecessor or influential on the design of the McLaren F1. It is a great car in itself so no need to hype it up with untruthful facts.
    It really must be great development test mule since it was also used to develop the all new GMA T50, Gordon Murray’s latest supercar project.
