  1. Hitek is pretty decent no lie batch quality could be a bit stringer sometimes but I have to give them credit as one of the handful of growers actually producing something worth smoking on the market

  2. I believe the cups have been bought out by now. 90% winning run Athena sound like a payoff monopoly. These guys not caring about EC runoff numbers sound like mid growers 😂

  3. Yes he’s right about run off being higher than substrate sensor. It’s always higher than substrate reading. And IMO runoff EC is the substrate EC + your input EC combined. Give or take.

  4. People always trying to blame nutes…nothing to do with nute brand… it’s the way you feed.. your substrate EC… PH… lots of things. Not the nutes.. they all the same shit. But I roll with Athena all day, why? Because I like the ratios and get what I need with 3 bottles. A/B/PK.i also really like the Athena guys. They seem like really good dudes.

  5. ive ran botanicare, green planet, gh, house, athena, mills, jacks, dyna, canna, bio, advanced, grotek, remo, cyco, emerald, bio nova. Athena is the second cheapest, mills and canna the most expensive, jacks beats them out. Additives are needed for all lines if you want serious shine.

  6. I remember working for all these types of growers in the Macomb Wayne and Oakland County. I was trapping but not growing my own and it was my dream to buy up a spot and build off that one, it was such a good time from like 2012-2020, went to florida to learn commercial and scale and then the Michigan market got tight asf, Im in MO now. Love to see how far MI has come along. All these guys are crushing much love!

  7. Bro anyone in Michigan and especially Detroit knows the fact of why the licenses in Wayne county were suspended. The existing established dispo owners put in reverse discrimination paperwork at the Supreme Court level to cock block any new legacy 313 people’s from getting licenses. That’s the real. Those bastards and many of whom came from the caregiver network they turned on is what made it even worse. The whole Detroit licensing has been a sham and Michigan overall let outsiders get way too much run. How the hell was there only 1-2 micro grows for what 6 years. And Apothecary in Ann Arbor is one of the out of staters with inside “connections”. The whole damn licensing here in Michigan on paper was supposed to be great and it’s been a POS. That’s the real and why there were no rec dispos in Detroit for 2 years from 2021-early 2023. The couple years before that Wayne county didn’t opt in. So for the first 4 years Detroiters were forced to go to the surrounding areas a la north of 8 mile, River Rouge, Troy, Hamtramck, Sterling Heights, etc. it was the definition of fuuuuuuuk 💩

  8. The more I watch it, the more I realize these are dumb growing. No experience, all about sponsors. Athena Athena shut up heavy. 16 will kick Athena ass. It's just an expensive Jack's!! Just dumb fat rich guys changing 2013 prices for trash products.

  9. Ya channel is so fire that i dont want to share it 😮 its like a hidden knowledge that gives me inmens power that cannot be shared with ppl who does not like to really grow, im watching ya videos 10-15 times, traducing, taking notes 🍅🍋🥦 thanks

  10. Thank yall so much for the back to back recent episodes ! I love this podcast and learn so much key information. I love running Athena blended line it’s so clean and next level. Keep killing it guys !

  11. Sorry guys. Seen too many side by side commercial grows where LED simply crushed hps. All in the same commercial facility over and again. I'll say one more time for the slow people in the room, it will always be a problem and shortcoming with you. Not the inanimate objects with no agency of their own. You don't get to blame them

  12. They're only using HPS because they don't understand that by using LED they have to put in a little more effort than taking down the old HPS light and putting up the new LED light. It's real simple. You grow best with what you know. And these guys don't know s*** about LED. End of story.

  13. This gentleman's method of topping is correct but usually it is best used when a plant is short with very small internodal spacing. That way the plant is more open as it grows. However it is usually unnecessary so long as the plant is a bit taller with a bit larger internodal spacing and in truth topping simply is unnecessary so long as you're pruning techniques are in check. Then the plant tends to end up with mostly all equal branches by the end of stretch.

  14. It's not about the nutrient line. It's about how the nutrient line is used by the so-called grower. If you are looking to simply nail down one program provided to you by a manufacturer of nutrients, don't dare call yourself a grower or a farmer. A true grower or farmer is able to capitalize on almost any nutrient program that is reasonable or decent and is available on the market. I have had phenomenal results both yield and terp wise from Nectar for the Gods, Cutting Edge Solutions, Vegbloom, Canna, Advanced Nutrients, Lotus, Floraflex, and yes, even Foxfarm.😂
A real grower can make it happen with salt or organics, liquid or powder, and as long as it is a quality nutrient line from a quality company, there are no excuses. These are inanimate objects with no agency of their own. So just like libtards love to blame guns and drugs for everything, the truth is you will always be the problem. This industry is still 70% Bro Science as being proven on these podcasts.😅 everyone wants to try to crop steer and force plants to do what they do naturally on their own when given the proper environment. What a joke. How about you just get the f*** out of its way and stop being a problem and pave it a 10-lane highway downhill knocking every obstacle out of the way so that it has every opportunity to fully express its genetic capability. Just because you finished and harvested doesn't mean the plant has expressed every genetic possibility. You may be missing terpenes that are completely capable for the plant to create yet you thinking 17 essentials are good enough don't seem to realize you're wrong and hence the plant is only expressing 80 or 85% of its true form. I have seen in one large grow where half the room was given one small added input on the nutrient regimen create an entirely new terpene that was not there in testing on the other half of the room without that one simple input. Stop asking the nutrient companies to do your work for you as a grower. Otherwise you end up like people like Mr kanuck who only knows one process and if he Strays from that process and even the slightest way, he almost entirely destroys his grow. No offense but he is not a grower or farmer. He is larping. Live action role-playing if you will. Now that's fine as long as he admits the truth and doesn't pretend he is talented in doing anything other than following directions and never ever swaying from that.

  15. keeping the top node and pruning dominant vertical apex branch for hormone control, This disruption allows hormones from the stem (cytokinins) to activate the dormant lateral buds, promoting their growth into new, lateral branches 💪💪
If you have LEDs with the option of spectrum tuning, the more you ramp up the Far-Red the more elongated cell production you can achieve giving it a HPS growth structure and look.
