  1. Thats why I by cars and bikes I enjoy driving, not to make money. Subaru Impreza gt, Volvo 240 turbo, gsx-r 1100, Blackbird 1100, XJ 750 seca, Mazda 323 hatchback etc 🙂 Imprezas, Volvo 240 and gsx-r 1100 have sky-rocketed in price though.

  2. I was forced to buy a car mid covid and at 17k and 20k miles later I'm taking a hit of like 10k just based on guesstimateing trade in value for a used economy car…….. yup imma drive it forever I can get way more than 7k of gas savings and usefulness in it's lifespan since it only just crossed 100k miles. The motor on my old car blew up, car burned down and I only had 3k and during that time 3k got you a car that had lots of issues and on its last few thousand miles of life 😂 then a month ago I got a pretty nice 87 f150 4×4 for 3k so yea prices have really changed since covid

  3. I fell victim to this depreciation as well. Bought a 2019 Subaru Legacy 3.6R with 19,500 miles for $35k in 2022 and sold it with 24k miles for $30k in 2023 due to repo. Wasn’t that much of a loss though
