20. 25 years ago the company I was working for was a Computer hardware distributor with a boring name and owned a new bit of software that was a good customer account/online ordering system. In a month we changed name to something trendy and said we were an internet company with a great customer sales product that happened to also own a computer hardware distributor. Shares 100x'd. Nothing in the company had changed just what we said we did. I see this happening with AI companies now. Just tack AI on the company name and make it sound like automation and process is now AI.
