48 thoughts on “The original car YouTube stunts were insane!

  1. I'm sorry but what. Rob just rehashed old Top Gear ideas from 2003 that's hardly ground breaking. If you want to talk to someone who's been doing crazy car stunts from the 90s then talk to Clarkson. He pretty much invented it with his videos and Dvds.

  2. Man I gotta dig out my old Super Speeders dvds! Super Speeders 3 is still my favorite with that Ford GT. The way that car sounds with a downshift is amazing.

  3. Well that certainly unlocked a core memory from my teenage years. Probably one of the first pieces of ā€producedā€ car content I saw on Youtube

  4. I had a mittymax pickup and he is right. You could not kill it! At one point it was running on only 2 cylinders and pouring oil out the valve covers but it would still do 70 mph everyday everywhere. Damn thing would not die.

  5. 15ish years ago two buddies and I all bought $500 cars. A v6 auto convertible mustang that we just had to weld the diff, a SUPER beat up 5spd Toyota paseo, and my 85 Mercedes turbo diesel. There was lots of sliding, off-roading, minor on purpose accidents at red lights. When the paseo died I pushed it all the way home with Mercedes. He would wave frantically to let me know when it was safe to push him through intersections and if we saw a cop I’d back off and let him coast šŸ˜‚The merc also saved the mustang when the alternator quit on a trip. Left the diesel running and swapped batteries back and forth. On the good ol days. Haven’t talked to either in a few years, but I know as of 3 years ago, my friend still had that mustang and it was closing in on 300k miles.

  6. I still think Mark Wallberg when I see him but without the speech impediment šŸ˜‚ I’ve never seen the video but now I gotta go find the contentšŸ‘šŸ» Once again, the best stories are on VINwiki Stories !!

  7. im super curious what happened to the company that towed his car, and then the impound lot that smashed it. I think the tab would be laughable, because you don't sue for the value of the vehicle, which is basically nothing, but for the lost revenue the car would be attached to. And rob would totally be able to get like over 9000 levels of dollars for this beat volvo with dog gates for front doors.

  8. I remember when the $500 challenge came out. Super speeders and Matt Farrah we’re the 2 main channels I watched back then. The Bullrun videos with the Cobra R…

  9. I remember watching this one. It was great. I laughed my ass off. Also, side note, I like how Vinny says "and we had a Range Rover as a chase vehicle in case anyone broke down"….The irony in that lololol

  10. I remember this video. I linked to it after watching Rob's vid of Running… In A Ford GT.
This is the series that got me into watching Auto YouTubers. (Yes, the options have increased, since)
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

  11. We did something like this in HS back in the early 90s. We bought a 72 Cutlass sedan. We let classmates hit the car with a bat for $5 per hit. We painted an 8 ball on the hood. Put deer antlers on the hood as well. We cut the roof off…We loved that car…It was a shared beater. We called it the #Claymont Special. That was the name of our High School

  12. I really miss the stupid fun youtube videos of $500 car challenges. The 'cheapest' Lambo vids have their place, but its also not relatable because probably no one else would ever buy an $80k lambo to fix it and have fun with it other than youtubers. Whatever happened to inexpensive fun on youtube? Why have "I spent house money making this video" videos taken over everything?

  13. like that volvo glass, i swung a axe at a bong full force like 5x and it didnt break, of course just like the volvo glass, you dont get away with not breaking when a man is tryna break you
