10. It is important to know that most of Americas two party politicians haven't cared about Americas workers and taxpayers. If they had, they would have provided some type of universal healthcare program using both public and private means like all other developed countries. Not only have they not done that they made it illegal for anyone to start any organization whose sole purpose was to provide americans discounted group insurance. Think about that. Effectively guaranteeing insurance companies profits by selling higher margin individual and small group healthcare insurance. Instead of allowing small companies and private contractors to group together to obtain private healthcare insurance at discounted group rates. So the govt was working at the private insurance companies behest. They also allowed people to be plunged into bankruptcy if they had no or not enough insurance. 63% of all private individual bankruptcies were due to people not being able to pay healthcare bills. This isn't just negligent its evil. That's just healthcare. we lag seriously behind all other developed countries when it comes to workers benefits like required maternity leave for women. Meanwhile we spend more every year on defense spending. We could cut our military defense budget in half by 500B and still be spending almost twice as much as China the second largest spender in military spending

The way to help get manufacturing jobs back in America is not by using tariffs but by using tax breaks for companies who only manufacture goods in the U.S. Plus companies who pay their American employees a livable wage are eligible for tax breaks. This can be done using part of the bloated military budget. The further we get out the more it seems that Bill Clinton messed things up. Him signing NATFA and bringing China into the WTO has been disastrous for America and it's manufacturing jobs.

19. To me at 18 in 1994, NAFTA changed everything in my town. 2/3 of my town lost good union backed manufacturing jobs to .10¢/hr Mexican workers.

Ahora las exportaciones a EEUU son solo el 14 % del total exportador de China, lo que no hundira a China si intentan un cierre total del comercio. EEUU no tiene tierras raras en producción y tampoco tiene sustitutos de todo lo que llena los supermercados, no a un precio que los estadounidenses puedan pagar.
