The first car ever made was Electric but lacked the distance it could travel, it wasnt until petrol "Gas" engines that cars really became a thing because it was easier to fill up a tank with a liquid then it was to charge a battery especially back then when electricity was still in its infancy, also England developed a prototype tank that used a diesel engine to power a electric generator to power 2 huge motors to the tracks, was a highbrid in a sense, it was called TOG2

8. This video is kind of misleading. The MSRP they are using was during the Covid supply issues where all cars were inflated. None of these cars have an MSRP currently of what’s in the video. Take the Audi for example MSRP is around 130 now. The model S plaid is also about $30,000 less MSRPif they use the MSRP of the current vehicle it’s not nearly as much of a depreciation some of this also is applied to cars that qualify for the $7500 tax credit which affected the value.

9. The saddest part is most people don't understand these electric vehicles that they're purchasing. The main cost is the batteries. And most people don't understand battery prices are starting to plummet which means unless the manufacturers want to cheat people hardcore. Prices of electric cars are also going to plummet. Batteries are may become less than $53 a kilowatt soon if this happens you will be able to make a electric vehicle easily cheaper than a gasoline. And the main reason they do not want to let Chinese vehicles come to America is at this time these vehicles are being sold for less than most gasoline vehicles in the United States. Outside the United States you can buy a nice SUV with lots of features for less than 35,000 do 350 me on a charge. Just search for Dongfeng Friday EV on YouTube and you'll find reviews

14. I'm from Germany, and I've just checked some Plaid listings on autotrader. Because I couldn't believe that those things actually go for that price. You all shld sell your plaids in europe. Here you still pay over 100k for used ones

16. Carvana is Not the cheapest lol. i can find 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness' in my area for 30,000-31,500 all day. On carvana the same car is 35,500 + almost 2,000 in shipping and fees. Not even close tbh Id pay at least 5,000 more buying from carvana.

20. Since we are talking nonsense …had my EV for 100 years , battery still at 100 percent and never changed a tire . Just like my last bmw ice which never had any problems ever , never cost a dime and ran itself for free. Car talk is so stupid these days . Some evs are way better value than many ices and many ice are better value than evs .I think people would be better off if they worried more about the car, price, model and year of production than this ev v ice YouTube crap
