  1. That breakup video was so strange. My partner and I recently had a similar experience where we both weren't happy and I imploded and kind of got him to break up with me. But I was super apologetic about that and we are working on resolving everything. All that to say our conversations were definitely not like this one, where one of us seemed happy and we were joking around with eachother??? It was way more solemn and there was always tears. Theirs definitely seems like "I'm making a youtube video", especially on her side 😮

  2. 1:11:31 it’s like she’s just rocked up to start doing damage control at Chernobyl – like yes there is for sure still damage to control… but NOW? you’re just NOW starting it?

  3. I feel like people aren’t understanding what being in such a long term relationship feels like, especially when you were never allowed to have a phase of exploring other partners. I don’t think she’s the villain here. All breakups are hard, just because she’s not taking it the same way as her ex partner doesn’t mean she’s an evil mastermind antagonizing him.

  4. 19:00 the fact she’s discussing this all publicly when in reality she should be saying this shit to him in private omg 😮‍💨 feel like im interrupting them like im uncomfortable

  5. I LOVE this video, hell i love all your content. You're a phenomenal writer and VA, and you have such an incredible way of drawing the audience in and making us care about random youtube drama. Seriously, your capacity for storytelling is phenomenal, and it's clear that your passionate about your essays, and the sheer amount of research and thought and care you put into them is astonishing.

For the most part, you did a phenomenal job of phrasing your criticism of Kiera in a way that feels valid and rational. However, you make a comment at 1:42:10 that sounds… kind of wildly sexist. "You can't be a full time parent and a full time blogger at the same time," I understand what you're trying to say: Giving birth is an extremely physically traumatic experience that takes months to recover from, especially considering how high risk the pregnancy and delivery was. Not only that, but newborns are EXHAUSTING. You know what else is exhausting? Breastfeeding–having to wake up in the middle of the night to pump, to maintain your milk supply. I think it's perfectly reasonable to criticize her priorities because… yeah, why the fuck is she wasting time beefing with another content creator, when she should be focusing on her own physical and mental health and wellbeing?

It's tragic that she's so obsessed (or insecure I suppose?) about the criticism of randos on the internet, that it consumes her. She ought to be taking care of herself, she ought to be resting and taking time to be with her baby but instead, she's wasting her mental energy and limited free time on trying to control the narrative of a story that ended YEARS ago. But instead of focusing on that, you chose to focus on the narrative that she cannot be a vlogger and a good mother at the same time. I completely and wholeheartedly agree with your criticisms of family blogging, and very real damage it does to the parent/child relationship and the mental wellbeing and development of the kids. Children are human beings, after all. They're not toys or props.

However, the idea that you "cannot be a fulltime parent and a fulltime XYZ" is an argument that has been used to dismiss, diminish, and exclude women from the work force for CENTURIES. You absolutely CAN be a fulltime parent and a fulltime vlogger, doctor, engineer, etc. Men do it all the time. Single parents do it all the time. The issue isn't that her attention is divided between her work and her kids, the issue is that she's so consumed by her own insecurities and her desperation to be back in the spotlight, her relationship with her children is suffering.

  6. While I think that the very idea of family channels is unethical, monetizing kids who aren't entirely sentient yet, and all those questionable decisions they tend to make. So, I'm not saying that Oscar's participation in that was fine or justified- but at the same time, he was a lot more mature, and I feel kinda bad for him. Kyra just seems extremely entitled and self-serving. I hope Oscar's doing well now, he seems like a sweet guy

  7. I remember watching OKBaby when they've just had their 1st kid. I liked them, especially Oscar who has always been a sweetheart! Some time ago I remember about their existance and decided to check out their channel – only to be surprised that they broke up and moved out. I was WAITING for some channel to cover this case so this video is a treat!

  8. Quick and very upsetting update: baby Preston has passed away in a car accident, he was 2 and wasn’t secured in his car seat properly. RIP lil Preston, you deserved better ❤❤

  9. Ah yes breaking up with your ex for the guy you cheated on him with, the same guy who cheated on his wife with kira. Something tells me that marriage isnt gonna last very long, or theres alot of infidelity going on behind closed doors.

  10. okay but the psychology in seattle guy assuming that Oscar will 100% regret the vasectomy and want to have children in the future is kinda wild. like yeah, it's a weird situation and i don't trust Kyra at all, but also Oscar said that it was his choice, he's an adult and he can make his own decisions. i think a majority of people who get sterilising procedures done voluntarily have thought it all through and knows that they don't want more kids. the psychologist sounds like my grandparents whenever i say that i don't ever want children when they ask about it. like i know that i don't want children, i know that i would not be happy as a parent, and i know that i wouldn't be fit to be a parent because i dont want children so i'm doing the responsible thing by not having children. like sometimes people know they don't want kids, and more people need to learn to accept that.
