Danny, I am the licensed psychologist who leaves observational comments on some of your episodes. I’m afraid I must disagree with your characterization of Randy. To me he presents with a flattened affect which is indicative of mild to moderate depression and anxiety. It is important to differentiate between The term, anxiety and presenting as anxious,, which he does not. If what he claims is true then I would actually say he is having a normal response to the traumatic and painful things he was subjected to, rather than an abnormal one. It sounded to me like you were trying to “pump him up“ With your positive feedback. I think, did anyone truly experienced what he describes would be responding in the same way he is which sounded to me to be a bit perplexed and despondent about it all. Anyway, that’s my two cents on the matter. Peace.
