3. Authentic Genetics sells Original Skunk #1 and Authentic Sweet Skunk #1. These are from seeds Mel Frank obtained from Skunkman Sam. I grew Original Skunk #1 this past season and yes, it does smell like Skunk. Very potent as well.

19. I have Real Skunk and Skunk#1… Real Skunk is a landrace from Pakistan and herms like a mother fcker because they grew/grow it for hash and seeds. They fed/feed the seeds to their livestock… You will not find Skunk in Skunk#1 because it's 50% Acapulco Gold. I have photograph of my Grandfather's Acapulco Gold from the spring of '79,. Smells like eucalyptus oil and spearmint. Joe Pietri smuggled the Real Skunk to NY from Afghanistan in the early 70's. I'm a Fourth Generation Grower from Ithaca NY.

Strong genetics man , especially the number one , i grew plenty of it, sea of green in the early days and then full size plants by the mid 90s and then we did five gallon hydro bucket superplants with a strain called hash plant, lol had two and three pounders inside! Ya man those were glory days in canada, legalization ruined it all , 911 was the first stick in the eye for us growers as the market went from 2700 2800 a pound to 1800 in a year then the proces kept falling , legalization was the final blow ,.can get aaa pot @ 400 a pound now easy, cheaper on pack buys .

44. The West coast Skunk story is interesting but… here in the midwest in 1973 our Skunk seeds came from a hash run in Afghanistan, with a member of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. The seeds were purchased in Kabul where the local farmers called it Kush . After growing it we renamed it Skunk for obvious reasons !! Peace
