Floraflex just debuted a 700 Watt patent pending budget LED grow light that has all the bells and whistles of name brand grow light at a fraction of the cost. Ever since I learned about the electricity hack outlined in this video: https://youtu.be/DE4ZtifCZoc efficiency is no longer as important. We can no longer ignore budget grow lights from consideration when they are capable of hitting the same light intensities with the same spectrum. The difference in cost effectiveness is now insignificant compared to the price difference and we can now consider budget lights in the conversation of the best overall value LED grow light.

In this video, we take a first look, unbox and debut the 2024 @floraflex grow light that claims that the days of $500-$700 grow lights are over. The truth is that using our tools, it indeed is more than capable of hitting the same exact targets. Using the off peak electricity rates hack, this difference in energy costs is less than $5.00 per grow for a 700 watt light. This nominal difference now makes it so that the price of the light actually matters when considering the best value LED grow lights.

This light is perfect for a 4×4 or 5×5

As seen in our tests and measurements, this light check all the boxes in performance and the optimal hanging heights are as follows:

HWG’s recommended light settings:
Seedling – week 2 of Veg: 30% 30 inches above top of plant, place all plants centered directly underneath light
Week 3-5 of veg: 30% 22 inches, as centered as can be
Week 5 to Flip: 50% 26 inches as centered as can be
Flip to Week 2 Bloom: 70% 24 inches
Week 3-7 bloom – 100% 25 inches
Week 8 bloom to Chop – 70% 22 inches

  1. Where you at that has that electric deal? You gotta be commercial here in Maine and if you get that deal you pay through the nose for peak hours during the day. Crazy prices. I built all my lights from HLG when they still had a healthy DIY spin, so even these are more than I paid, but it's about time

  2. I got this light as a tester and it's legit! I was using x2 300w lights in my 4×4 and it still didn't give me the best efficiency or coverage. This light, however, fills my 4×4 and gives me optimal coverage in that space. Still on my first run but I'm already impressed.

  3. Have you tested farmlite led grow lights? The price is great and I was interested in getting there 320watt 6bar light. It's under $200 from Amazon. Please let me know your opinion of this light. Or where I can find a good review of it. I can't find any on them. Thanks and love the videos you put out.

  4. Bro their nutrients are amazing too just finished a run. Honestly got them for free from a friend it was a starter kit but man. Fire my ladies loved them, will be using them again. Love the vids thank you.

  5. Aye there brother hello πŸ‘‹, Have you heard of Apache Tech ATV 800 new model bar style light , it's only $500 and it was designed by your favorite Trio nutrient brand General Hydroponics , I'm sure you know general Hydroponics was designed to grow plants on the moon for a Nasa project and Apache Tech is designed for the lighting of those plants they used with the GH trio nutrients . They 2020 models is not rated for a grow tent but with some engineering support , it can be done and you will need a 10 inch inline fan to move lots of air but the AT600L or ant AT model are still a beast of an Led light, It was my first experience of transitioning from HPS to Led , actually I ran both for a while until surgery slowed me down . Many have not heard of Apache Tech , But they been around , mainly commercial , and now they have an affordable foldable bar style led light 800 watts of they technology to light up the Moon lmao 🀣 but that's was the official reason of they design . The 2020 models still cost $2,099 a unit , and they will out perform any Led as for as quality and Bud weight .

  6. I’m running the slim KILLA bloom 500w this channel got me to dich the HPS thanks again brother I stuffed on huge plant under it on week two sharing short clips if anyone cares lmao anyways keep up the awesome videos brother πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

  7. This channel was the reason my first grow was a success. I had never grown before and had zero knowledge, but after checking out a bunch of his content I was able to achieve a nice harvest. Just wanted to stop by and say thank you, not a lot of grow channels break things down for beginners the way you do.
