military calcium made here last night… instead of eggshells with vinegar i used eggshells with hydrochloric acid…… its even used on roads to prevent icing its so powerful….
Ill be that guy, i seem to run into yellowing alot and it advances quicktly i to dead brown leaves , outside /inside grown happens to both, use gg organics blend , it will literally eat the plant alive from the vottom up inclusing any buds
Diatomaceous earth!
I just experimented with how much Dolimite and/or Gypsum that small plants can handle. I have found that it is very easy to create a calcium toxicity in too much applied. Yellow of the leaves occur in early veg
Hot = high temp
Charged = high nutrients
I’ll use my jewelers loop and camera attachments for scanning the underside of leaves for spider mites. I have over 60 houseplants and had an annoying ass winter with spider mites.
Plant that have pest resistance came from pest pressure though
.
These are the best episodes where you guys talk about growing the plant and the deficiencies and problems
You always should start with a good foundation aka soil build up a soil that has a good variety of different types of npk plus micro nutrients into your soil you shouldn't have any problems
PH YOUR SOIL ITS SIMPLE NOT ALWAYS CAL/MAG!!
Nutrient lockout due to overabundance of nutrients or salt build ups, poor watering practices, or wild ph swings can all lead to yellowing. When in doubt, pay for a soil test. Well worth it.
I use worm casting for nitrogen, or foliar spray.
Foliar sprays of kelp meal or high nitrogen bat guano or teas help with deficiencies quickly
A wise and admittedly, rude person once said too much light too many nutrients or too much water is 90% of the cause of anything.
Every time I use calmag… I have issues with burnt tips. I quit using it… switched to advanced nutrients.
🎉🎉
The leaves can’t look bad if they’re all gone😂
Gotta Pay to Play. 🤙🏼
I think if you are doing organics and your pots are 10 gallon or bigger and you have enough organics its light or ph thats making leaf yellow i don't have problems after you dial your lights in and water in you should be right
Love watching you guys but pigeons you look a lot fitter then you're friends love you all
The first thing to add is almost always a balanced Calmag. Bloom city contains most of the micros, N, Mg, and Ca.
Nitrogen deficiency. Magnesium deficiency. Iron deficiency. pH and temps. These are the biggest issues that cause yellowing/pale leaves.
I didn't know dat Chris wrote a book. That's so cool, I mean he knows his stuff. Also: frigging crazy that I can order it in Germany, I like the reality we live in :3
P…”ask mr grow it”😂😂😂😂great show boys🤘✌️
Dry as a “popcorn fart” 😆 i thought i was the only one that said that 😆
So, is specifically the color yellow important because it's a universal indicator of plant sickness/weakness? Is that why Google, numerous botanists I read, the people who make "sticky traps" as well as the research says yellow specifically attracts the most bugs/pests?
Great episode.
