Lyrics:
Do you see what’s free
Even if you don’t agree
Go on, gotta place your bets
while we hide from the gun threats
I bet you feel brave from behind the internet
It can’t be taught to last
If we settle our differences fast
Now our kids learn to write and read
and everything between
and get down, cover and freeze
Put me between the sand and sky
Ocean ahead and past behind
Warm summer winds all day and night
It won’t matter who is right
Do you see what’s free
A holiday facade of freedom
Give away human rights to feed them
Headline news, we bleed on
Give up paychecks to seed them
Teens get killed, an audience fulfilled
You gotta keep the people engaged
Even if it keeps them enraged
Profits and numbers got something to say
Put me between the sand and sky
Ocean ahead and past behind
Warm summer winds all day and night
It won’t matter who is right
Headline news
“An unarmed man murdered!”
Wait, adjust for views
“Man not following orders!”
Headline news
“The world is overheating”
Just hit snooze
“It’s starting to feel like spring!”
Put me between the sand and sky
Ocean ahead and past behind
Warm summer winds all day and night
It won’t matter who is right

  1. This might be a parody…? (Yes I'm coping)

Anyway, this is actually a very good song. The problem is that Number 12 are geniuses who have made so many masterpieces that that's what I've come to expect from them. So this feels like a let down

N12, I love you! Please don't let anything deter you from making what you want

  2. This is one of the most terrible things I've ever come across.

Doing their best to degrade the legacy of TNTLLY, from mathcore GOATs to some generic hard rock radio abomination.

Granted, Worse than Alone was a big drop-off. And Wild Gods wasn't worth the return.

    As ever, Justin is missed.

  3. ok what happened to the wild gods prog rock direction?! this just doesn't really fit them imo the sample in the middle of the song is especially jarring, i feel like something was lost in translation here im gonna give the album a shot i just hope this is more of a radio single

  4. This band can do no wrong. I’ve been a die hard for years and have treasured every album. And that includes whatever the new one will be. If their next album is all this rock, I don’t care. I’m digging everything. I love it, I love them and I’ll love the future stuff. 12 forever.

  5. this is cuteee. as someone who's favorite album is put on your rosy red glasses. i think this is something the label is pushing- reminds me of the direction kaonashi has been going in
