12. I live in the hood and i work at a grocery store, most of my customers are immigrants or BIK people…and i see All types and i can honestly say They are some of the nicest and friendliest people you'll ever meet…dont be fooled by the media!!!!
    I shoot the shit with gang members all the time!! Im not their 'Opps' They're human beings just buying food to me, Yes we get loud ghetto BIK ppl who start bs but i never let individual experiences with a person define a whole race of people for me!!
    Gang members are such a minority in the hood, The stereotypes are real but then again they arent…for every 1 BM i see with no father in her kids like, ill see 5 BIk couples come in right after!!! and my store is near a well known project building so my customers are all lower class…I see poor W people everyday and poor latinos everyday…I see alot of Old hardworkin BIK men i dont see gang members doing shit…my family has gang members, all families in the ghetto have one or 2 or more…but they are always the minority not the majority…Average gang member has hella family members who dont bang or do crime….I hate how the media focuses on BIK men who do crime….Our mayor is BIK and super friendly he shook my hand and everything!!! Its sad we have a BIK mayor and yet ppl still refuse to see BIK men in a positive light!!
    Im latino but i was raised around BIK people and they taught me everything i know!!
    When other latinos bullied me for being dark with curly hair, BIK ppl were always there 4 me and never looked down on me…I honestly feel more connected to BIk ppl then latinos and im being real!!
