In this video, Parker Curtis from Homegrown Cannabis takes you on a trip down memory lane with a smoke review of the renowned 50-year-old sativa cultivar, Trainwreck weed. This legendary strain, which originated in Northern California in the 70s, is a hybrid of Mexican and Thai sativa landrace strains crossed with an Afghan indica landrace. Known for its tall growth and massive colas, Trainwreck can be challenging to grow indoors but is well worth the effort for its extraordinary effects.
**Highlights of This Trainwreck Review:**
– **Genetics:** 90% Sativa, 10% Indica
– **THC Content:** Approximately 20%
– **Aroma and Flavor:** Sharp citrus zest, a little sweet, and sour
– **Appearance:** Light green buds covered in trichomes
– **Growing Tips:** Requires lots of support due to stretchy growth and heavy buds, controlled humidity to prevent mold
– **Effects:** Euphoric and almost psychedelic, excellent for creative activities but may not be suitable for tasks.

Back in the day everything was just called weed. It took me like a year to understand that there existed other kinds too. I think it took up until the end of the 90's before people started caring what they were smoking in my neck in the woods.

One of the strains that I've been wanting in my garden for a few years now.
ive grown it indoors in a 52inch tall box in a deep red state . dont let a sativa scare you away from growing it in a closet . if you know what youre doing you can control er , shes amazing .
I really like when y'all show the plant and smoke next to it .
I have a trainwreck auto goin in my veg tent tight now as a little bonus on top of my photo runs. Is getting some big long colas. humidity is kind of high In there for flower but i havend had a problem yet.and shes around 5 feet tall, but nice and strong with no support

I have cataloged every strain since I started smoking, and am 10 strains from 600. Trainwreck, Romulan, Cindy99, AK47, Jack, Mendo, and many more Legendary strains of Indica, Sativa, Afghan, & Ruderalis. Today's strains like OG Kush and Cookies are so muted, it's hard to tell genetics. Thanks!
I Will Say It Again… Nice Beard! 🧔🏽

Come on man. We like what we like. Not what you like. This is not worthy of my time. Sorry.
I think sagamathas California trainwreck is best one ! Just a few rips and sweat inducing heart racing paranoia sativa🤯💥😂😂
First stain I smoked was called Weed….1970's
Man I remember train 🚂 wreck feeling like a baby elephant 🐘 was sitting on your chest 😅
Trainwreck is literally known for its extreme mold resistance. That’s why it’s legendary in Northern Cali where it’s foggy.
I wish I can work with you guys in the garden, and enjoy smoke.
