Using just salt, water, and a ziplock baggie, you can accurately calibrate your hygrometer.

We show you in Infinitesimal detail, step-by-step, how to check the accuracy of your hygrometer and how to set the calibration if it has that functionality.
If your hygrometer has an app, you can do it via the software.
We use a GOVEE hygrometer, and it has an app where we can calibrate and correct it if it is inaccurate.
If your hygrometer doesn’t have an app, don’t worry; you can just use a piece of masking tape with a note to yourself to add or subtract the percentage (say, +2% or -1%) to remind yourself how “off” your hygrometer is.
