  1. I will never buy a ticket to see an orca or a dolphin? 🐬 My daughter had asked me several times until I broke and I took her out on a boat. It took us about six times until we saw a dolphin. I will never take her to a show. I will never go to a show. I can't imagine what these beautiful amazing mammals are going through.

  2. Keiko was in human care for the last year and 4 months of his life in Norway in a closed bay where he could still go out with his trainers on their boat and sometimes come and go as he pleased. He had plenty of space, human contact from his trainers, food, and people were still allowed to come watch him from a distance. Based on the symptoms, he died of Pneumonia and was in the company of his trainers and vet. He lived a much better life compared to the other captive orcas who lived in stadiums doing circus shows until the day they died with no retirement or memorial to remember them after they made billions for the corporations that owned them. Keiko is the only captive orca to have a memorial. From 1996 to 2003, when Keiko was rescued, rehabilitated, released and died, 22 captive orcas died in the circus with 9 stillbirth/miscarriages and all but 1 were younger than Keiko. Keiko also successfully foraged on his 1,000-mile journey from Iceland to Norway and dived deeper than ever to 72 meters or 236 feet. Keiko liked going out on open ocean walks and left a huge legacy (the training that was used on him was used with Springer the orca and dolphins Tom and Misha who were all successfully released, starting the research on the wild whales in Iceland and today we have 1000+ IDed, exposing the billion dollar zoo/circus industry, the time depth recorders, and the experience gained from the seapen will help in creating the sea sanctuaries. He had 5 years of living in the ocean in 2 large bays in Iceland and Norway. Film Keiko's home in Norway

  3. People want cheap meat and this is part of the problem. Meat should be expensive and we should eat way less of it. Our bodies function optimally on lots of fruits, vegetables, and grains. As our society has advanced we should see plants growing everywhere and food available everywhere. Farming animals for meat is not natural nor healthy. It is not good for the animals or the earth either. We are messing with ecosystems by clearing lands for raising meat and overfishing. Many diseases are linked with diets high in animal products versus eating more of a plant based diet. Our ancestors did not eat meat everyday. Predators who eat meat do not eat it every day! We cannot sustain the human population by eating loads of meat because you will destroy the ecosystems of earth trying to raise these animals. You should be able to drive down the road and see gardens growing everywhere not cattle.

  4. Japan will be killing the most, but they lie about the numbers. I’ve worked in marine conservation and trust me, Japan lies massively about the harm they cause the natural world. 😢😢

  5. He was doing what in Bengazi?? U mean Bengazi Bengazi? U know they Murdered Ghadafi cuz he wanted Gold for Libyan oil instead of USD. I think he got Saddam to jump on the Bandwagon. That's why he got smoked. Hasni got his mind right when Arab Spring dropped. That's why he breathing in jail & the Arab Spring lasted about mins, at least in our MSM, when it wasn't needed to manufacture consent no more.

  6. The fishermen ain't the problem. They just need a check and getting one like everyone else. Like he said, it's the live dolphins being captured by the huge conglomerates, cuz that's what keeps it legal. Some hunts for cetaceans should be legal tho. Its a part of a lot of indigenous cultures. They kill the animals ethically, Have great respect and reverence for these animals. They are an intrinsic part of their culture.

  7. This interviewer did NOT do his research when it came to Rick…🤦🏻‍♀️ he could have really prepared himself prior to him coming. This is an important interviewer for cetacean and our ecosystem that we are apart of. This interview could have sky rocketed the awareness of the importance of these animals. If only this man was prepared himself with more ways to get him to expose things people do not know about.

Rick is a legend! He has been banned from Japan several times specifically for saving whales and the exploration of how the bottle nose are being captured. All the other dolphins that aren’t bottle nose are being killed for meat and sold to the local villages near the cove. There is HIGH levels of mercury in the salmon that have birth defects on children.

  8. The ''Trainers'' that do all the tricks with them……Are they as guilty are the people in charge or not?
I find it very suspisous if they think they are helping somehow.

  9. I visited the dolphin research center rehab in Florida keys. They said many cannot be released due to possible sicknesses that could spread through wild dolphin populations. I noticed they had maybe four SMALL pools w clearly trained dolphins doing tricks and pics w tourists. I asked about them she looked upset and said oh they never leave saying they couldn’t be released due to some illness. Seemed fishy no pun intended. I wonder is this the same as sea world. They do a wonderful job w rehab release but only 5% ? Anyone know??

  10. Ric OBerry is such a good dude he really does so much work to help Dolphins all over the world. The documentary he’s in about the dolphins slaughter is very sad they are just like us, us humanoids really need to open our eyes and what we are doing to the world and all of the animals and jungles and trees ext we really are depleting everything for MONEY ITS THE GROSSEST THING I CAN THINK OF AND NO ONE CARES.
