What caused the suds? is it water a solvent for anthocyanins at certain temps or is there a catalyst or other reagent added? Always down for learning something new. I mean imagine full blues and deep reds too. If the water is kept ice cold to avoid other pigments and lipids outside anthocyanins I have never seen it work. Heated water would, like cabbage. Perhaps something added to change the PH?, or heat up the water to increase the solubility and filter the extra trash with it later down in production?

The colour of the trichome heads has no effect on the high or the taste, this is dictated by the ratio of cannabinoids, terpenes, plant esters etc. The colour is due to the present of anthocyanins which the plant produces as part of its stress response to environmental factors.
