0:00 Intro – Click show more under the video to read more.
0:05 Hopefully the customer gets the front subframe replaced or stops driving the vehicle. The lower control arm looks fairly new as it has the sticker on it still. The customer never mentioned what other shop apparently did this.
0:18 No brake fluid in the reservoir. A new caliper, bracket and other hardware were installed and the brake system was bled. If you look inside the wheel it looks like the brake caliper or bracket was rubbing against the inside of the wheel for a bit.
0:32 The technician verified with the service advisor that the customer meant the rear wiper and not the defrost or another feature.
0:39 This usually happens after a customer details/cleans their car and then reinstalls the floor mats.
0:51 Brake rotors were replaced. The technician said the vibration was very severe and almost felt at any speed.
1:03 The sensor was properly installed and a new tone ring was installed.
1:17 It’s not recommended to install trailer tires on vehicles and I’ve heard that some places have made it illegal to do so.
1:25 The lube shop thinks that the oil pan threads were most likely damaged from whoever changed the oil last and decided not to chance it.
1:37 I don’t think the customer knows how to use a compass and why do they need two?
1:49 The technician said it had a ton of other safety/front end issues that were not recorded on camera.
2:03 A connector on the back of the transmission was leaking.
2:13 Ford F-250 OR F-350 that is very rusty!
2:20 An issue with the electric power steering rack. For that generation of F-150, only the 6.2L still had a hydraulic power steering system.
2:32 From what I’ve heard there can be a big fine or jail time if caught with a fake inspection sticker like the one shown.
2:39 The technician performed a multiple-point inspection (video) the last time it came in and took screenshots to show the customer that the new brake pads don’t have paint on them.
2:48 From the sounds of it the bottom of the compressor rusted overtime and caused this to happen. No injuries happened.
2:54 “New fuel pump, fuel lines, and fuel injectors. rebuilt the Bosch CIS fuel distributor and warm-up regulator. Adjusted the fuel pressures and mixtures and it fires up on the first crank.”
3:07 Outro. Thanks for watching!

  1. I sometimes catch myself thinking: Naaaa, that's staged, that's made up..Nooo way

For example in the case with the rear windshield wiper..how you not realize your car doesn't have one? lol

  2. I own a 49 Chevy truck, and I installed one of those dash compasses, it also didn't read correctly. There was no magnet anywhere near. It would read correctly when taken away from the dividing bar in the split windshield. That must have somehow created a magnetic field.

  3. How does someone not know that their car doesn't have a rear windscreen wiper? Thats like not knowing what fuel it uses, or how many doors it has.

  4. That was a NY state inspection sticker. No need to forge them. There are plenty of shops that pass you on the basis that if you drive in and stop without going through the far wall of the work shop then you must have some brakes!

  5. I was a truck driver, and one night, another driver was backing up to the dock. The trailer was leaning far to the right. The tires were missing, so were the brake drum, axle barrings.

  6. I like that inspection sticker. I had a girlfriend that found the one I got in the mail and made a copy of it for her Jeep…the idiot and one of the many reasons I got rid of that fool.

  7. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddd…"customer declines repairs." The bloody ride is a hazard to all within miles, and "customer declines repairs." In the last episode I saw, I loved that the shop saw that customer cliché and raised with involving appropriate authorities. I say more shops need to do that—they see a clear and present danger in a customer's ride; they show the customer the hazard, not just tell them but also show them; customer refuses to get it fixed; authorities come in and order said ride impounded unless/until the clear and present danger is eliminated. That would put an abrupt end to all those "declined repairs" shenanigans, and the dangers they pose to innocent victims.

  8. Suggest when having Transmission serviced. Engrave and take a photo of the transmission case. They will take your good transmission along with $4000 and install one from a junk yard.
