1. Thank you so much for having me on to celebrate this exciting moment for Rock!

2. There is no way I would classify Sleep Token as Metal / Rock, they have a few rock songs but mostly they are pop / easy listening. Having said that I have tickets to see them at The O2 in London at the end of the year.

3. Fell in love with ST in 2019 when they started dropping singles for the release of "Sundowning"… I'm stoked for all the success they've gotten, that deserve every second of it. They're one of my favorite bands of all-time… Here's to 5 years as being a fan 🙌

   I'm an elitist in my own tastes though. I like those bands, but they aren't nearly as good as Frost* and David Maxim Micic, at least, not as far as I'm concerned.

   I like Sleep Token, but they won't be any good unless they want to express themselves honestly with exploring new ways to be what they want to expose as their exploration process.

6. Bad Omens also, but a lot of that also came from TikTok and with Just Pretend, afaik. Been listening to them since years already, though 🙂

8. I strongly believe that all the lyrics in the last 3 albums are about spiritual awakening and the relation of our ego and our higher self. I also believe they were a trilogy, and maybe the band will need to change to another theme for the next album.

   I wonder how much RCA will try to dictate their creations, or if they will let them free to write about whatever…

   Their lyrics, from a mysticism perspective, are nothing but amazing, and I just hope they can keep their genius intact now that they're on a major label.

16. I'm so proud of Sleep Token. I've been a fan of them since 2019 when I first heard The Offering and their music is nothing like I've heard before.

17. I am genuinely excited for Sleep Token. They deserve every good thing. I can't help the fact I am also terrified for them. I've been watching and listening to all types of music since I was old enough to understand. When major labels used to be courting big bands, they genuinely wanted to promote, produce and help that band actually prosper. Artists used to be fairly paid (in the earlier days some were explosively overpaid, according to who liked them at the label, etc. Still giving you side eyeball occasionally, Monte Connor. 💚)

    Because I've seen the rise and fall of so many over my years on the planet, I can't help but be fearful RCA isn't going to be a good match for Sleep Token. I know from the artistry and the vocabulary of Sleep Token, and Vessel and Co that they are incredibly intelligent individuals who will do everything in their power to stay in creative control as well as be fairly compensated as best as they can foresee and/or bring to be with the help of lawyers, managers, etc.

    Sleep Token is a band beyond on many levels. I only want to see them continue to flourish, and stay true to themselves. They hold the magic keys. I don't want those keys squandered.

18. Think this will ruin them. The label won't let them keep there style just like all the other bands that went garbage after signing with a major label. Think they should stay solo bc they really don't need a label at this point

21. obviously not from the nineties, Korn, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Primus, all bands where famous faster than Sleep token, Sleep token is around for six years!

22. Great VOD @Rock Feed. Love Allison. The ascent of Sleep Token reminds me of the rise of Ghost. Not exactly the same but very similar…many parallels…I was grateful I got to see Ghost before they blew up into this now Headliner (and a huge one at that) I saw them in a small theater setting (very intimate) during Meliora into the Prequelle Era.Tobias really put in the work and is reaping the rewards. This is very much what I see when I look at Sleep Token.

It's great to see that there WILL be something/someone after "the originators" / "classic" rock and metal bands when they have finally hung up their guitar straps…there is hope for a healthy music scene after all. As long as they stay together and dedicated, the live music will survive. Thank the gods for bands like Sleep Token and Tool that they are keeping everyone MENTALLY and AURALLY engaged. 🤘💀🤘
