What is happening with Puddle of Mudd, who just released a brand new album, their first since 2019. A concert venue called out Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin and banned the group from the venue.

I’d appreciate it if you took a moment to follow 🙂

  1. Eh, I always loved POM, maybe because they're from KCMO. They had crazy potential but fizzled out. Always thought their name was about H/needle 💉 and a 🥄, not about the mud from the Missouri River lol.

  2. I'm aware not everyone had the same experience with Wes as I did and, that is on 4th of July weekend (2011)he was in a really good mood he was ready to get out there and, give one hell of a show for everyone he brushed his hair,he smelled really good,he was energetic he seemed like a sweet guy to me I have no complaints whatsoever.

  3. Wes gone do what Wes wants to do. you can't help someone who doesn't want help. bottom line. so many ppl think so selfishly. Nobody knows what he feels, what he is/has gone through. nor to what extent.

  4. Can't speak for Wes , but I made it a point very early on to never associate any kind of drinking or substances with my music because I had seen where that leads so many times . Musicians think they need it to create , or to get onstage , and eventually it will turn on them and take over. Couple that with the fact that after playing onstage you are so jacked up you feel invincible and can power down booze and drugs like nobodies business. Which is fine if like me you are just gigging a few times a month , but if you are on the road and it's night after night after night , well that eventually doesn't work either . Canceling a tour can really impact a lot of people , but you also can't set out with a ticking time bomb for a lead singer . For everybody's sake. I think a lot of older and even younger bands are waking up to this and running things in a more healthy way. It helps too when the fans are supported of this as well and don't try to shove drinks or drugs into their hands . Everybody wins when the performers are sober

  5. With the sound these guys had, the talent that Wes possess, and the timing of when they came out, they should be wayyyyy up at the top of shit with the likes of Korn and Disturbed. Wes has absolutely demolished his reputation and career. He's let us down time and again. I don't know why we're talking about "if this continues." Few people are even fortunate enough to make the comeback he was in the process of making. It's over. He's punched his ticket.

Do us a favor, Wes. It's time to check out, buddy.

Edit: I've been watching Rockfeed a long time and never got this guys name.. When Wes cleaned himself up and came back with Welcome to Galvania, he said he'd be the first person to call Wes out if he slipped again. He's slipped. Don't enable him now. Enabling has never and will never help an addict. The only help we can provide him now is forgetting his name and taking his money so he can't do drugs anymore. This is the option Wes has given us.

  6. Wes is Looking bad lately , I'm not judging I've been on same road for last 25 years I know the signs, if had to Guess id say he's on meth now . We are addicts and likely will be until we go in the ground. Hope the man the best I do .I love puddle of mudd . its hard enough being an addict in everyday life being famous with plenty of connections and cash could never help the situation any

  7. As a kid of the 90s and early 2000s pom had a few hits back then i felt like they fell off at some point… i seen them at my citys casino in 2018 i was wasted ao it was hard to tell how good they were but ill always have a soft spot for them as a kid of that generation

  8. It is actually really sad because I saw him in 2016 in Tampa. This is when they were just doing small venues that like had maybe five hundred people and my friends band on edge was playing with them lucky enough the drummer of my friends band got to leave his drum set out and basically the drummer for Puddle of Mudd played it that night. But I got to see him because I was a VIP in the back it was in a parking lot of a well-known restaurant but it was still a good I was about five hundred people I talked to him he seemed like he was clear-headed and ask him if he wanted a beers that we said sure I'll go get it with you and like you said that I'll go get it and he was doing warm-up vocals which I know people have made fun of them for doing that Nirvana song and making those faces ladies taking a dump but yet Puddle of Mudd should be like multi-platinum they were such a big hit the song blurry was a success I was in Middle School when that came out I bought that album. It sucks to see that he's wasting his talent but after the fact of getting him his beer he asked me one question. I asked him about why why didn't Puddle of Mudd become even bigger? I said you can punch me in the face if you want I'm a fan he goes no I understand it's the business he said I actually had a true nice conversation with the man he was very nice never got pissed off I told him when I heard the song from his first debut album I understood the lyrics even at say 16 years old and those work good lyrics he was like thanks man I appreciate that very much and then he like came out of nowhere and said who are you anyway I'm a friend of the band on edge oh that's cool I didn't even see your VIP badge he was laughing cuz I was just in the back talking I said yeah my friend plays guitar and the band he's like oh that's excellent man. And then he said he had to do the vocals so I let him do it and I just watched how we did it but from what I met him he was a really cool dude. Never you know cuss people out or anything like that but maybe as you start to build up more Fame again you start to get a little overwhelmed I don't know it's it also could be because of the drugs I was told that you like cocaine. I've never seen him do that why was there but I know the signs of somebody on cocaine trust me I mean that's my little story. I did see him before that also when I think his second album debuted I went to some Festival. Yours prior to that a lot of people call Puddle of Mudd one hit wonder if they're not really a one-hit wonder. In my eyes hopefully they can get their shit together and get back and do the tour dates.

  9. Hope he gets the help he clearly needs. It’s heartbreaking…… Prayers going out to Wes, Family & Friends. Hoping things turn around for the best 🙏🏻💔❤️

  10. Prayers for Wes. Hope he can recover at some point and begin to see more clearly. Will always love the band and the music they made for everyone 🤘🤘 I know Wes won’t read this but; all your fans hope the best for you man. GET BETTER brotha 🤘❤️

  11. I can see both sides of this particular coin. If Wes is having personal issues, then I hope that he gets the help he needs. But on the other hand, The Machine Shop is a concert venue that requires on their shows and alcohol sales to fuel their income for the building and for themselves, and because Wes pulling out of 2 sold out shows lined up at the venue, it cost The Machine Shop a lot of money, so I totally understand why they've permanently banned Puddle of Mudd from ever playing their again. I've seen plenty of shows at The Machine Shop and it's a pretty cool venue.

  12. Dude, I like your channel. But you're taking Puddle of Mudd way too seriously man…
Who gives a fuck what they do. Are we getting sad about Everclear and Matchbox 20 too? Because, no need to.

    Stay strong

  13. What career? Unfortunately, his behavior has been out of control since inception. His creative nature and energy I am sure came from this behavior, but when factors such as drug addiction and mental health become such a problem, the collateral damage must be minimized. He really hasn't done anything as good as his old songs in many years. I think it is pretty much over, and maybe it should be.

  14. True story. A few years back I rented an air bnb at a beach in Florida. I was out at dinner until 11pm ish. We got back to the air bnb and there was a naked dude in our bed with my wifes reading glasses On. I yelled “what the fuck bro!?” And the guy was like “evverythings so blurry” in a super drunk voice. I ended up taking mushrooms with the guy and turns out it was joe biden’s son.

  15. Shit I got you all beat by a mile! The Original band with Kenny in the Kc/ Independence Mo area was a much better band! When they were a bar band in the 90s I always remember him pouting and being an ass! They were at the Lonestar in Westport playing at St Patrick's day for the then KY 102 BASH! The last party in 1995 was huge! I remember him screaming at Max Floyd, DJ, for making them play 2 sets that day! He was a spoiled rich kid that went to Park Hill high! It was kinda funny when the new band and him got signed and I was sitting watching tv,MTV, and Control video is on and I'm like WTF, I absolutely know that guy! Then the name…P. of Mudd! 😂😂😂 to pop sounding! I occasionally played with Fate Unknown! And Waste Gate

  16. This is sad but it is a hard buisness and hard to get up there and pretend lije nothings wrong when your whole life is falling apart? I do hope he seeks help and gets his mind together. He has many Yeats ahead of him of he makes amends.

  17. I saw Puddle of Mudd in Austin, Tx in 2001 and Wes was completely zonked out way back then. I don't know how the dude is still alive, never mind how he still has a career.
