Lyrics:
Shook down
Aching to the core when ruptured powerless
We’d see red to horizon
If there were care left spare to give
Sanity’s swinging on a shoestring
Numb to epiphany
What gives in the dirty corners
Call it will, call it anything
Heartbroke and dreamin in a backseat
Living in a head, right in the skin
Sanity’s swinging on a shoestring
When shots fired too easily
Do we suffer only to recover
Coming up for air before the cycle takes me in
Suffocating, aspirations fading
Coming up for air until the cycle starts again
Wake up in another headspace
All’s well and immediate
It’s high time to live a little easy
And know who the hell we’re fighting for
Who’s down to sever that shoestring?
Who needs autonomy
So go kill your menace deep in your heart
Show some love and open your arms

Remember how the Internet used to be in 2007 and 2008 era Youtube, where people would go online to watch Metal and Emocore Videos, recommend Films, Music and Albums to each other and everyone was chill. Then everything became a pissing contest about Politics, Ideologies and Education. Bring back the early Youtube era of Blooper, Inury, Ridiculousness Videos, Unintentional Comedy, Terrible B-Movie Clips and people doing sketch comedy and music. That was the ideal Internet era. Whatever we unleashed from 2014-Now is just not working. We now return to our regularly scheduled Internet Programming. Has Putie Pie done a Video lately, Willow Smith or Jenna Marbles? Please take me back to the Classic Internet Era, which now feels like TV Land. Twitter had its run, Facebook was trash, Instagram was fun, but my favorite was MySpace, and Vine. Rumble is cool, and I still don't understand the appeal of TikTok, but it has its purpose if it's used for Comedy, Music, Karaoke, and Entertainment. It's not that there is not good to these Apps, but lets improve upon them and make them better. Keep the Internet Cool. Youtube and MySpace was the best way to discover new music and bands and that is what I loved most about the Internet.
Hot Water Music or Grade? What band do you like better?
I love how you are friends with Chris cresswell the flatliners and this band are my absolute favorites
Can't stop listening to this one! Don't want to either…..
For a moment I thought Patrick Stump was on the vocals
so much love for this band!
would love to see a behind the scenes for this
HWM playing the same song since decades. Any song sounds the same. One of the most overrated bands.🤷🏼♂️
I don't think Dustin is singing on this at all. That's Chuck the whole time for sure. Maybe some harmonies here or there. Thrice contribution must instrumental.
God I love these guys
This is Musik ❤❤❤❤❤
So good! Welcome back, fellas! #whenthenewmusicremindsyouoftheyoungeryears
Been a fan since 1998. Altough their post hardcore phase was my favorite, they still make good rock n' roll for old bearders like us. lol
Killer! Verses give me Jawbox-y vibes.
Not Water Music
Reminds me a bit of Boy sets fire.
Just stumbled in here and this is legit
Chrisssssssssss what the fuck
I’m sorry, I love HWM but is this Hot Water without Ragan or is this The Draft with Cresswell? Doesn’t sound right to me. Sorry
Lush ❤
So good
400k views in 2 weeks…nice. I will say that I'm responsible for at least 25 of those.
So we've got Gaslight Anthem, Dave Hause, Alkaline Trio, Strung Out, Hot Water Music. Who am I forgetting?
I’ve been a HWM fan since we’d go to house shows in Atlanta, Athens, and other places to rock with them. Now that we’re all old men, I can say the latest stuff is their best music ever (according to my opinion). Thanks for keeping at it all these years, boys!
Dad and sons
My brother had (and still has) the Punkorama compilations that HWM was on, but I can't remember them at all for some reason. But diggidy-damn, this single is hot like water music!🔥
Might have to backtrack and check out the entire discography.
It's great to see Wollard back!
great!
Good!
My boy Cresswell!
Great song and collaboration !!!
Chuck Ragan I love you dawg
Damn I love this band! ❤️
Freaking love Crusty's voice.
Clearly Dan Campbell took that NFC Championship loss personally and channeled the pain into art here
DAMM the new guitarist has a beauty melodic voice!! congrats!! you make my day!
Oh my god Chris Cresswell is my spirit animal, and adding him to one of my favourite bands ever is paying dividends. Canadians make everything better!
Holy crap I’m back in high school
temaso !
Buena musica
Back to the 2000s ❤
Any band that references Buke has to be good
Fact: Hot Water Music is the best band in the world. The only other band that comes close is Cave In.
Anime oppening english version.
Amazing , just discovered from the adds ,
i can hear "too many puppies" riff
YEAH. Punk rock with deep lyrics that can heal you if you sing along, like the blues. Their music helps keep me healthy and hungry for whatever's the new what next in life. Can't wait to see them in June in Cali! HWM FOREVERRRRRRRR.
