Rumor of Light is taken from ERRA’s album CURE, out now.

Stream / download: https://erra.lnk.to/CURE

these days all fold into one
as the seams evaporate
feel the pressure from the outside
blur the line between madness and reason
euphoric moment counterfeit
withering expectations
no feelings of resolve
and I wait for a change
at expense of motion
the outer rim of earth we swim
adept to the way life can overwhelm
at dawn you allow your mind to dwell
the sun runs on empty, it’s over now
I see the earth hollowing and frail
silent now as ever
will you remember the way it felt
higher now than ever
the light flickers in waves
and radiates its will to keep aflame
the distance between this
shadows dance in place
an imprint to forget
these days that fold into one
are depleting rapidly
calculated to devolve
and I cried for a change
and held faith unbroken
you’re on the backtrack crawling your way out
the light inside you carry is weighed down
but on the asphalt,
the rain falls through waiting hands
(the earth we swim)
the outer rim of earth we swim
adept to the way life can overwhelm
at dawn you allow your mind to dwell
the sun runs on empty, it’s over now
I see the earth hollowing and frail
silent now as ever
will you remember the way it felt
higher now than ever

  1. The super deep tone with Jesse also toned down honestly gave me some volumes- bend vibes. I really love the production in this album, the low and mid tones slap so fucking hard. I like that Jesse is continuing to experiment with vocals. The juxtaposition of his ethereal voice with the punchy guitar and drums is so satisfying. My favorite band

  2. Noticing a lot of people mentioning this sounds like a Spiritbox track. Glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that. There's a vocal melody in here that's straight out of Constance. I fuckin love it!

  3. Welp.. didn't really get into the singles until the end (kinda like the S/T) but I've been loving the actual album.
JT's delivery is faster that it's ever been, he's practically spitting fire.
And Jesse's cleans have a slightly different edge than they had on GA tracks.
More enjoyable the more I listen, absolutely.
