24. I work as a cameraman and sometimes I do press junkets. A few years ago I was going into work at a hotel for the junket for The Mule, and I pulled up to the hotel valet who park all the crew and talent cars. They said the valet area moved and instructed me to go around the block to get there. I heard another hotel employee say to the car behind me “follow that guy”. I was like oh I hope I don’t lead this presumable coworker in a truck to the wrong entrance. I pulled around, the truck followed me, we got into the valet area. The valets ignored me and ran straight to the truck behind me. I thought that was weird but whatever. The guy was in coveralls like a mechanic and he walked past my car but I didn’t see his face. Then I got out and the two guys high fived and one said “Batman, bro!” I was like what the hell are they talking about? I looked back at a green Toyota pickup and just shrugged it off. I walked to the service elevator and the guy waiting there was Christian Bale. We rode up the elevator together but I didn’t say anything. Turns out he was doing interviews for the Vice junket on another floor of the hotel. I’ve been telling people since about Bale’s Tacoma and how I got tailed by Batman. I clicked this video making sure you guys got him on the list. Good work!
