8. Got to meet Oli maybe twice, first time I was chatting at the merch table for a moment and asked if he had a pick for a souvineer. He quickly tapped his pockets and found his show pick. He said something along the lines of “if I have a bad show I blame the pick and will throw it in the crowd, but I held on too tonight’s pick. And so graciously gifted it in my hands. Second time I got to meet him, I got a half hour guitar lesson with him through a radio station. I got to play one of his guitars and he showed me some of air I breathe. There were members of another band being loud and kinda obnoxious in the background and he non chalantly played a scale and sang a little didly of “don’t…be..A….dick…to…us….” Showed how cool he was to have the patience. Glad I got to have those interactions with him. I’ll miss his riffs. God speed sir thank you🤘🏻

16. As much as The Fall of Ideals is labeled their best, it was This Darkened Heart that got me into them,id personally place that album higher. Between All That Remains,Unearth and Lamb of God, those are the top 3 bands that inspired me as a guitarist. RIP Oli 🤘

20. I saw this guy's back in 2012 for the support for Dethklok's album Dethalbum III with other Major bands… This band played amazing and fell in love with their songs. I'm glad I got to see Oli and the rest of All That Remains live but wish Oli resting well and happy and to his family and loved ones comfort as well as being strong through this struggle.

21. Dude, Six was such a phenomenal song with that effortlessly played intro and solo. Still sad af he's gone. He definitely left a great impact on my style and new techniques. Rip Oli 🙏
