  1. We live in a time where a situation like this happens and the person being accused is immediately guilty without any evidence. PVRIS could have told Alex to take a leave until they learned more about the situation and then decided accordingly what to do instead of just firing him but I can't really fault them, that's how society works now, everyone is guilty before they are innocent, not the other way around and now PVRIS is in a pickle. They aren't the first to deal with this and they won't be the last.

  2. She needs to not only serve the jail time he would have gotten if found guilty, but should also be paying his legal bills AND whatever amount of money he would have made with Pvris in those 3.5 years.

  3. What she signed proves absolutely nothing. Yes, legally she is retracting, but it doesnt mean it never happened. It could also be a sign of wanting it all to be over already. What sucks is we will never really know.

  4. Nooooo I loved this band for ages it’s such a shame don’t always trust accusations it ruined another singers take Ronnie radke for excistance reputation and ruins peoples lives in general

  5. poor guy i hate the guilty before innocent culture…always side with the victim…sometimes the victims are the criminals its a tough topic for obvious reasons but until its in court proven much like the hockey players that are going through it we shall see in court whats true and whats not to many ppl believe opinions and make them fact online before the justce system can do its due diligence

  6. I don't really blame PVRIS for letting him go lmao and I really don't think they need to publicly apologize because for what they knew at the time they were making the right decision and I think anyone saying they should have "stood by him" during the 3.5 year legal battle would prob do the same thing the band did if in a similar position. Imagine you are an up and coming band with steady growth and a potential to make it big, why would you let 1 dude derail that progress. At the end of the day, regardless of what people say, the music industry is a business. A lot of these groups aren't BFFs they are business partners, I'm sure many would rather cut out the "rot" and keep growing healthily than let a potential bad apple ruin their careers and growth. Like it or not, what the group did was logical in the case of keeping their growth going without speculation/accusations holding them back.

  7. You’re all oversimplifying a very complex situation. When it comes to something like SA, you can’t ever really know what transpired between the people involved. The best thing you can do is step back and let professionals handle it. Especially if there’s a conflict of interest. No one wants to think a family member or friend could do something like that. There’s also the statistics and research we have available. This is why it’s generally believed that it’s always better to believe the victim, as only about 2-8% of SA reports are false. Only 31% of SAs are reported – more than 2 out of every 3 SAs go unreported. Over 50% of Women and 30% of Men have experienced physical or sexual violence.

  8. Makes me not wanna pursue any type of music or acting or public employment of any kind EVER …. can't even chase your dream without being publicly smeared for no reason whatsoever by someone you could have never met !

  9. I would say pvris got what they deserved. They were headlining pretty good sized venues after the second album. Now her music sucks and she playing small clubs
