0:00 Intro – Click show more under the video to read more.
0:05 New keys were programmed.
0:21 The battery was replaced. Some manufacturers put the battery is weird spots like the trunk, underneath the driver or passenger seat, wheel well etc.
0:32 No extra info.
0:43 The passenger side area was cleaned out and the blower motor was replaced.
0:54 Airbag recall was still performed. Always make sure you clean the interior of your car and remove any food from the interior to prevent bugs and rodents from going inside your car.
1:05 The technician said all the air fresheners actually made it smell awful. It was too much!
1:15 Drivers seat was fixed.
1:27 The Ford Focus even had a “padel shifter”. The owner bought it from his father and transformed it into this “boat”.
1:38 All 4 tires looked like the one shown and needed to be replaced. The technician said it also had damaged weather stripping around the doors which most likely let some water/moisture inside of the vehicle.
2:01 The keys for a Tesla look like a credit card, so I could see how those could be easily lost. Maybe they lost them in the car?
2:12 First time I’ve seen a truck badged this much to look like a diesel and even had a huge diesel exhaust tip.
2:27 Nissan Titan with a Cummins engine. As mentioned the truck was new at the time it was filmed.
2:48 To replace the rear shocks you need to remove some trim to remove the nut for the top of the shocks. Unfortunately, the mechanic had to remove lots out of the way to do so.
3:01 No extra info.
3:15 Custom batmobile?
3:29 Replica 1965 Shelby Cobra.
3:38 Outro. Thanks for watching!

50 thoughts on “Customer States He Can’t Find His Keys In His Car

  1. Rotting rice door and floor board's covered in cigarette butts i might throw a piece of paper towel or wrapper in my passage side floor board but i get it out pretty quick 😮

  2. I used to work with this younger girl and one day I happened to walk by her car on the way to mine, and when i looked over I was shocked. It sas FULL of literal food scraps, trash, and flies. I initially lokked over becuse you could literally smell the car from 5 feet away. Absolutely vile. Our manager apparently had the same unfortunate experience as I, and she made the girl clean it before she could come back lol

  3. Yeah some of these I would absolutely refuse to work on. I'm not touching your trash. Ether you clean it before you come or take it to a shop who will play around in bugs and mold

  4. I don’t know where these vehicles are, but in Canada we have right to refuse laws that mean a worker does not have to do a job that could result is sickness or injury. These cars definitely qualify. What if there was disease or needles in there?

  5. I would refuse to work on most of those cars. I think they’re serious health reasons, and sanitation issues that go along with that. I was a paramedic for 31 years and you would never believe the condition of some peoples houses. I guess these cars are no different.

  6. The cigarette butts…shit I smoke and I make damn sure my car doesn’t look like that. I’ve seen a coworkers car that looked nearly like that in the center console, and all I can think is “I don’t care how much you don’t like the damn car, have some fucking self respect with how it looks with you in it”

And this from someone who used to toss empty McDonald’s bags in the backseat until I realized it was making my car look like shit and seeing as I was about to be divorced I knew there was no way a woman would get in my car with it looking like that.

  7. I don't work on nasty cars like that. I tell them straight up to clean it out and bring it back. Most of them don't come back, but no loss, I have plenty of good clean paying customers.

  8. Most people I know change their cars, when the ash tray is full. I have not seen one where the ashtray was overflowing that much.

I do not smoke, and never have, so it takes a very long time for me to fill the ashtray.

  9. As a mechanic, I can not believe how disgusting some people's cars are. I've found maggots, dead animals, and I even replaced the transmission in a lived-in van that had a homemade bucket toilet that was "full" but tipped over. Worst test drive ever!

  10. Ain't nothing wrong with an ant nest in the trim pieces. My girls moved in right about when we started letting my toddler eat in his car seat 😂
