0:05 “The customer had what looked like used junkyard parts in the trunk that were also broken.” Some Tesla models have a half steering wheel/steering yoke so it looks like the customer wanted to change to that one but damaged some stuff in the process. A clock spring spiral-wound special rotary electrical conductor allows a car steering wheel to make a connection to the controls on the steering wheel and also the airbag. Since they damaged that, it caused multiple warning lights to appear.
0:18 Not the best place to secure a child seat. Hopefully, the customer will fix that ASAP. With the door ajar light staying on, one of the modules most likely stayed as it noticed a door was open, which caused the battery to drain over time.
0:36 I’ve heard and seen car fires happen because of this. Always be careful where you lay the hood prop as this could have ended much worse.
0:48 They are not sure if it was actually the customer who did this or not, either way, what a mess! The brake disc should not have any of this on it, and it should just be on the back sides of the brake pads.
1:06 The shop and technician were not told what “other shop” did this, as they said they should get it warrantied by that shop. The car now needs a new engine.
1:18 Spray foam, signs, duct tape and hopes and dreams. The car also had a ton of other issues that were not shown but those were the most brutal. The clip was filmed in Australia.
1:38 You can start a car in Park or Neutral, but not drive.
1:48 First time seeing a fuel filter installed on an evaporator hose. As mentioned the car needed a new clutch.
2:04 For some reason the customer had spark plugs on the rear bumper of their smart car.
2:09 A bottle of body fragrance was upside down making a hissing noise anytime the customer put weight on the centre console.
2:31 A common issue on certain GM models from what I’ve heard but not sure of the exact issue. There might be an issue with the steering column, either way pretty unsafe way to drive!
2:42 Always compare old parts to your new ones when installing them.
2:57 No extra info.
3:11 Outro. Thanks for watching!

Is it me, or are people getting dumber everyday.
1:27 basic Rhode Island body work. As long as you can’t see light, it passes.
98% were women customers 🤡🌎
People this dumb should not be allowed to drive.
How bright is their door ajar light that it flattens the battery? Those are usually about 1 watt. It should take more than two weeks to flatten the battery with one of those.
The guy with the pontiac steering wheel that's not fixed in place, the same thing happend to me on a mitsubishi spacestar from 2005, it was all over the place, borderline undriveble, had to get it to the mechanic 3 times before we found a better solution, welding it 😂😂😂😂
im amazed on the overall stupidity of people
That watermelon truck was off the hook! What a cool truck!
Ayo i like that Watermelon air filter
Some of those idiots doesn't deserve a car let alone roam around the street
I wish these videos were 10 to 15 mins
What is it with these people and spray foam!?
Customer is stupid and does not deserve to drive.
The number of times i’ve heard the words “spray foam” in these videos is concerning
More submissions of ur grandma's cars at the end!
The lawnmower spark plug would look good screwed into the customers ear!
The bodywork reminds me of what my father taught me when working on anything, be it cars, computers, electronics, anything. "If the repair does not look showroom or factory fresh, you did a piss poor job." He started off as a mechanic, became a QC inspector for Toyota. When he retired from there and worked part time for a dealership, so many cars that were brand new off the truck failed his QC checks. "Don't accept anything less than perfection when you're spending money, because there is no reason it should leave the factory otherwise."
It could have been worse. Mr. consumer could have put a longer reach spark plug in there and poked holes in his pistons. lol. Good video as always.
People really just don't take the time to think and figure out shit on their own.
I once pulled the steering wheel off my antique truck to try to get the brake lights to work. I tried to wire a Mack turn signal control into it. It failed horribly; the brake lights wouldn't work when the turn signal was going. My mechanic had to put in a new wiring harness. I had tried everything to avoid spending real money. (sigh) Ahhh well.
never heard of cooled seats
I teach auto mechanics now. I've instructed my students to subscribe to this channel.
Sometimes I just wanna bang my head against the wall.
0:53 it looks like if someone's kid put ketchup all over the brakes
You need to keep the paperwork in the oil pan so it doesn't get misplaced…
there seems to be a common obsession with spray foam…
My brain hurts.
And these are the people driving 🫠
Here I was assuming that Tesla was pulling some kinda Apple bullshit and the car was throwing a fit about being modified.
That feeling when you drive with those people on this planet.
2:52 Even if you are not the brightest candle on the cake, if you do some work and the car runs worse than before it COULD possibly have something to do with your prior actions. You don't even need technical knowledge for this conclusion. OK, looking at the spark plug before and after schould lead to a slight thinking process, but my first statement stays true in general…
'Left the paperwork in the oilpan'… That's why Britany from the office desk has to be stay there.😂😂
1:14 must have been either a monday morning or a friday evening job 😀
1:39 wouldn’t the tow truck driver notice something
I had a customer come in with poor braking. They had a weak from brakes so cover front and rear brake rotors in wd40. Car barely stopped
W Watermelon Truck
🤣🤣🤣 sparkplug on the left is used in lawnmowers and on the right in chainsaws but yea i had same problem with customer week ago he used right SP instead of the left one
1:00 “Brake Stop-Squeak?” Is that a real item? Talk about making the symptoms and not curing the problem. 🤦♂️
some *** people need a good ' adjustment '
2:11 NO FUCKING WAY XDD
I mean, when you buy a Tesla, you're buying something rated worse than a Land Rover for reliability.
On the first vehicle, the 2nd Generation Toyota Sienna. There are actual tie down loops that are RIGHT BESIDE the latch gate. I use them to keep my tool box from sliding around. You would need to be blind to miss them as they're very obviously there for that reason.
The number of stupid people increased 10-fold since 2016!
