1. A better route planner would’ve helped your time. The sweet spot is 8-60% charging, making an an additional stop. Doing that, you can charge far faster than you can drive.
   Don’t get the ev hate either. Made several folks heads explode when towing my old cars with my MS. Can’t wrap their head around someone liking both. Sad.

5. Well, to a trucker, a stickered up car doesn't eaxectly look like you're hauling a woman giving birth to the nearest hospital…I get why he'd scare some road racers who are NOT helping safety. Ambilances may well be up behind and there may not be room to safely pass.

10. Good on the trucker for stopping you. It's an entitled and frankly incredibly unsafe use of the emergency lane. I wish a cop stopped you and towed your car. It doesn't matter how slow especially when it's bad weather and you are racing. Listen I drive fast but I'm not going to endanger other people or prevent emergency vehicles from doing their job because I want to win a rally 🙄 first off you should've been disqualified but second should've gotten a massive ticket.

    However passing at speed in the emergency lane while dangerous do able.

29. I get the goal. I get the rules, and I get the stretching of said rules. Enough really fantastic stories on this channel directly involve people not following rules and the chaos that ensues.

    When the goal is to speed across the country, yes, absolutely, speeding is a rule you can reasonably break, I don't think anyone here thats a fan of this would be against that take.
    Now, using the shoulder? It's not the core element of the goal here. While speeding is already upping the level of chaos and potential for harm to the public, thats the one we've already identified as "The Risk being taken", but taking personal use of the emergency shoulder to run past traffic, I think this is where people can be justifiably bent out of shape about it, where the two elements of not following "the rules" ceases being a double-standard.

    Hopefully that doesn't become a popular method as far as trends go, or I could see justifiable response from law enforcements local and national on saying "Alright, someone ruined it for everyone. This is too far."

36. Great video and story, first off we still miss Randy and Rachel everyday. Secondly I have had the pleasure meeting Dave a few times and he is truly a great guy. I still have one of his Hot Wheels cars he gave me at the Savage Garage Rally send off in Maryland.
