5. I've said for 20 years, the best music of the present comes from the super talented starving bands that will show up in your town and literally look you in the face. Or you are mega successful by doing just that. It always bothered me that once their bellies were full, they sat back and stopped working and expected the money to keep flowing. Wrong. Now that the most important base will pay $300 to watch someone play on their laptop, that's it. Done. Gen X saw the last of the truly best of humanity in music. Period.
