This car had enough damage to buy my house and it had a clean Carfax but if you fart in a drivers seat it’s documented. How much of the $182k was the “this stays between us” fee?
Hidden Damage, or damage that had been repaired? Because I’ve bought a car with hidden damage before, and that meant I had to pay for the repairs (technically my dealership eventually stepped up and handled it after a lot of discussion). Unless the car is still damaged, it is not hidden damage.
It only shows up on carfax if they go through insurance. Guy paid cash, body shop did its thing, scum bag owner never disclosed the accident or receipts.
Greta edit job.
That’s the kind of shop you’d send your daughter to
You knew and you scammed your customer 100%
The repair facility, is the goat, seriously. Foolded everyone!
Sounds like the fix was in
These people are just trying to say the were fooled too. Don't believe them
Do not buy used cars especially high end. The dealers lie and cheat
Maybe it was hidden repair that cost $182 k😂
Damn how was tha carfax clean too?
So we're supposed to believe you sell cars and you didn't check the VIN yourself that sounds believable for sure. In the slim chance that's a true story then you're just a terrible car salesman, well actually I guess either way you are a terrible car salesman. 😂
I mean as long as it’s a bot reviewing these incidents and not a person, the penalties will never truly be fair. But there’s simply not enough time to have real people on the scene so 🤷🏽♂️
a lot of people don’t understand they probably would’ve spent way more than 182k if they didn’t fix it themselves
Car fax is a joke
In other words you didn’t do your job ……. Seems just like it
i definitely trust VINwiki over carfax lol
Story aside, that colour is stunning!
The car was repaired what's the issue they wanted it cheaper or something? That's like a blown motor if u sell it wit a blown motor value goes down u repair the motor value goes back up..🤷
The true crime was not changing the paint color….
You bought a used car without Google the Vin #?
Madness.
Never trust Carfax.
First time the price might’ve actually been right at a mechanic🤣🤷♂️ damn near a new super car
To be that presice where every junction and spacing is all aligned and all even throughout the entire car is fkn mental. WHO TF DID THE WORK?!? REVEAL URSELF PAL. I have a cadi without a front end🤣 still sitting at the junkyard
Yea right you knew GOOD AND WELL the car had been f***
point
Ok so it was repaired
When I was a kid I bought a Corvette brand new like a couple hundred miles on it. 1990 first year they did the wrap around console and I wrecked it into the rouge River here in Detroit. When they dragged it up to end bank they ripped the door off the whole side. I think I paid 38,000 for it close to 40,000. ,000 they fixed it. I thought they would total it and it was almost what I paid for. It
Bro took the car to LS customs and got a perfect repair 😂
You need that repair shops number😂
As a used car dealership constantly going to dealer auctions, carfax is complete bs, but autocheck is also purposely vague. In the fine print, carfax does not stand behind their info and any dealer can email them asking if a specific event can be removed. Autocheck is backed by experian, but ironically they don’t report as many events. Moral of the story, it’s a used car. If u want something 100%, u won’t get it. Even brand new cars can be delivered with prior paintwork. Ford is notorious for painting a front end or rear bumper since many of their vehicles have fender benders pre delivery/at the factory.
@miamimiles
it's called Due Diligence, and the buyer failed here.
Shout out to the guys who put their hands on this car to fix it. Amazing.
Expect tons of future issues with it😢
