4. Back in the day I had hand-on responsibility of building one of the cars in the movie. It was the ACTUAL Eclipse Spyder that was the inspiration for the purple/silver one in the movie. The real one was blue/silver with vertical lift doors. We spend night and day building a custom sound system sponsored by Eclipse that was to be seen in the film.
   Unfortunately due to outside circumstances the car didn't make it in time. It can however be seen for about TWO frames exiting the warehouse in those scenes. This car and a pickup painted like a Flag left one after another. Both were local vehicles and painted by the same shop in Cape Coral, Fl. A lot of detail and effort went into building and perfecting this vehicle. It had gone through many hands before being in my shop so I rewired everything on it and even made wiring diagrams and legends to prevent further confusion in future upgrades. We had been the last ones to touch it so perfection was paramount.

   Never got a single word of gratitude for our effort.

8. Yeah, you would hate for kids to think roll Cages are safe…. Like wtf. Let’s spend all this money making a remote control car instead of just putting some thing that should be in the car anyway. This movies out here telling you to make your car fast but don’t do anything safety related.

15. Even if it was the Durango, I’d still be super hyped to tell the story of how I technically worked on a Fast and Furious car

18. The funny thing is they bashed this Durango again later in the movie as a battering ram at the beginning of the chase scene later in the movie.

20. I get that it costs money, but I feel like adding a roll cage would’ve made the car fit better with the movie, just paint it pink
