13. It's so dumb and sad that Pontiac Solstice was also featured in 2007 blockbuster Transformers as the iconic character Jazz. Just in time when they pulled the plug on the brand.

15. The way I think about it is not that these car companies are gone, just that their ability to do business was seriously limited (thank Obama for that). Under a thriving economy and good leadership, we could bring Pontiac and other automotive companies back to life.

24. My grandpa has a pontiac G6 convertible that he loves to death. may not be the fastest car pontiac made, but it's still a nice daily.

25. in Europe when i think usa brands the ones built usa i do not think quality item more disposable item, fun but made out very cheap materials and your plastics we make bins out that stuff. usa steeped up in last 5-7 years, cars what handle and made to better standard like the new mustang or mid engine corvette 100's times better gen before and better materials used but cost also

32. Idk how people always fail to mention the late greats of Pontiac. The GTO and the G8. They tried to bring back the performance aspect but it wasn't enough.

    Sable/Taurus, g6/cobalt/ion, sierra/Silverado, traverse/acadia/enclave, citation/Phoenix. This list goes on with all 3 US companies.

36. I didn't really give a shit about Oldsmobile, but I was kind of pissed when GM killed Saturn AND Pontiac. Like, we couldn't keep friggin one? Saturn was the biggest mistake because it was it's own niche market and during a financial crisis maybe cheap reliable cars would have been a better thing to keep
