46 thoughts on “Do Trim Bowls Ruin Your Flower? – FTS Clip

  1. I use mine strictly for wet trimming and absolutely love the trim bowl, a whole plant in 10 minutes is amazing, not to mention I use everything that falls through for making butter or oil

  2. Seriously. I was skeptical about these trim bowls, after using one I swear I’ll never go back. A little nug “cleanup” and that’s it. This this does like 90% of the work for you and honestly side by side I can’t tell a difference between hand trimmed trichrome amounts and bowl trimmed. That was my biggest fear. Although I will definitely say these bowls probably chop off 5-10% more nug than hand trimming but it’s still worth it to me. Time=Money. I’ll take a 10% loss if it saves me 40 hours of trimming.

  3. We aim to achieve the perfect balance of 80/20. Our priority is not to produce the largest, most attractive, or strongest buds out there. Instead, we focus on growing high-quality, organic cannabis with minimal effort. We achieve this by using live soil and minimal training in an earth box. After trying a friend's AC infinity bowl, we switched to using it and have been satisfied ever since. We maintain five plants throughout the year, spending only ten minutes a day tending to them, and 2.5 hours on trim day. We believe in putting in 20% effort to achieve 80% results.

  4. Trapped in a routine, perpetual harvesting and hand trimming the same unexciting shit I smoke every few weeks… Judge Dredd every harvest CT in the wrists.
It’s kind of pricey where I’m located but if that particular bowl trimmer legit works man, be a game changer!

  5. With 2 kids , no more trimming for me. Just buck the buds off after 2 week dry and jar them up. Knock the the leaves off when you go to smoke. I Feel like the sugars wrapped around the buds keep them preserved better.

  6. Budders only hand plucks, then waits till the cure is over, then when I sell or consume, I do a final hand pluck. Only those that have too much or are too lazy relies on such things like these bowls.

  7. Unless you have to trim more than two or three lbs at a time, this is crap. Budders would rather hand pick the sugar leaves off, and not be super lazy.

  8. Wish I could catch you guys on your other streams. Good stuff always coming in from you all!– IMO: Any automatic trimmers are counterintuitive to what the whole process is for= A nice end product with the same amount of trichomes it was harvested with. I do a rough cut with fine scissors for bigger plant matter then move to tweezers, so I do not touch anything else. It takes me roughly 16 hours per plant to trim; with a professional set of tweezers… So far, every person has asked, can I touch it lol

  9. Nothing better than a homemade handcrafted boutique product. I will try a silicone brush similar to the cannabrush this go around to see how it goes.

  10. Why do we trim? To get the leaf off. A "trim" leaves half of the leaf on the bud. Hopefully to be removed when rolling? I "De-leaf" my buds, by cutting all leaf without sugar at the base of the stem. My smoke is the smoothest on the planet. Obviously leaving the sugar leaves

  11. The bowl works alright but you have it takes small batches and pay attention, it's like sticking a new pencil in a pencil sharpener then sharpening it down to the eraser.

The easiest and fastest method i to take 4-6 oz of untrimmed buds dropped in a turkey bag blown up like a balloon, closed tight and twisted until it looks like it is going to pop. Then shake the dog shit out of for 30 seconds, dump it into an open colander or fry basket to let the trim fall to the bottom. 95% of your trimming is done. LIFE CHANGING and you can reuse the turkey bag practically forever. Cheers

  12. I haven't used any trim bowl yet. I went straight to the trimbag… And minor hand trimming. I thought it was gimmick and ruined the buds that is until I tried it. Now I won't harvest without it! Plus I drop the "shake" into the trim bin and get plenty of dry sift before washing.

  13. After watching the full video on this less than 2 weeks ago, I bought the AC Infinity 16” trim bowl and to be honest, I will never hand trim again!! You do end up with a little more trim, but getting a plant done in less than 10 min is exhilarating!!

  14. Cannabrush was cool last harvest. Gearing up to go round n round in a couple days. Thanks and Respect guys! My wife got me the 19" vivosun one. Ill come back with my 'two cents' for what 'That's' worth.
