0:05 Common issue to see on these Jeep’s, which can be fixed. However, it sucks that the previous owner (private sale), didn’t inform them of this. That’s why it’s very important to get a vehicle inspected before purchasing.
The technician mentioned it had a bunch of rust and some body damage that looked to be fixed with some bondo.
0:24 Same case for this customer as the first one. The frame could be repaired or replaced.
0:43 Not sure why somebody would weld a smaller brake pad onto the backing plate of the old brake pad, but it must have gotten them by for a while.
0:52 Exhaust is damaged and will now need an engine as well. Will give an update on what happens if we get an update. Sounds like the customer had driven over something which caused damage to the oil pan. Oil started leaking out of the oil pan but the customer kept driving until it shut off. Looks to be on a fairly new Lincoln Navigator.
1:09 GMC 2500 HD – Diesel. As mentioned the technician removed the air freshener and it fixed the customer’s concern. No issue with the turbo or engine.
1:23 Passenger side vents closed. The technician also had a thermometer in the vents to make sure it was blowing cold air when the AC was on.
1:34 The customer got charged to fill up their car with fuel.
1:45 Ford’s with the capless fuel filler nozzle, requires a funnel (should be in car with tire jack), to fill up using a jerry can or gas can. Otherwise, this will happen. Why it’s important to read your owner’s manual.
1:52 Looks like the Cadillac could use an alignment also as the inner part of the tire is pretty worn which caused the premature tire wear on the inside. Let’s hope the customer got new tires installed at another shop.
2:02 No extra info.
2:13 A wastegate control boosts pressure via bypassing a controlled amount of exhaust gas from interacting with the turbine wheel of the turbo.
2:22 The technician said it also had loose upper and lower ball joints. The shop recommended to the owner to have it towed away but he didn’t want to.
2:31 A Toyota Hilux just came in for a tire repair and the mechanic noticed this custom exhaust.
2:39 Ball joints were not properly installed or greased.
2:51 1972 Chevelle.

  1. Hey guys! Happy friday-eve.

Glad to say we will soon be posting more clips on the 2nd channel (Just Rolled Out). In saying that we are now offering revenue sharing if you submit a clip and we use it for the 2nd channel (will be posting mostly shorts on there). Submit your clips at http://www.justrolledinyt.com
We will contact you via email with more info (so check your spam).
Appreciate you guys and have a great upcoming weekend.

  2. Wife took car to weld shop so exhaust could be fixed… We just found out that the catalytic converter was removed then welded together with straight pipe. Addicts would simply cut the catalytic off and disappear into the ether but this weld shop replaced the pipe and welded it back together… Car went into shop with it attached but came home without it

  3. I have legit been in an "I am driving at night" situation immediately followed by a big crash, a bunch of lights, and an "I am not driving" situation. I had it towed directly to a shop, and I can only imagine what they thought of me.

At least the damage was fresh.

  4. the welded brakepad..i have actually done that aswell – coudnt get new pads over a long weekend so had some smaller ones lying around, changed pads and rotors the next week-worked for those 4 days(rotors were at the end of their life aswell)

  5. I used to work in tech support back in the 90s when computers were new. One lady called in and said her mouse wasn't working when she pointed it at the screen like a TV remote. Another guy called in and said his printer wasn't working. I asked him "Can you tell me which lights are on?" He said hold on and came back after an unusually long time, then said "The front porch light is on, the street lights are on, the gas station lights are on, the next door neighbors lights are on, …"

  6. It’s always funny when people bring their cars in for things that are a laugh of embarrassment but it’s an honest concern because they just don’t know. It’s a laugh for the mechanic and the customer which is great lol.

  7. I looked at a pickup truck years ago. Planned on buying it. The frame was rusted to hell. The owner packed the frame with cardboard and wiped black grease over the entire frame to conceal the rust. When I found it he played dumb.

  8. For me all of the "declined repairs" shouldn't be allowed. If the technical issue is potentially life threatening, it should be immediately reported to the authorities and the owner pulled over immediately after leaving. I can only wonder how many completely rusted and "wobbly over 45" cars are there.

  9. I bought a sick impreza for 500$ guy said it had rod knock needs new motor, turns out was minor piston slap, I've been using the car for 4 years now and haven't had an issue ! Sound hasnt even gotten worse

  10. Couldn't make a video but have to share this one. Our customers complained they can no longer programme the engine ECU with our software. Installed three new units, tried 78 times and nothing. Then he called us. He had gotten a new laptop that is running faster. We had a bug in which can message timing was sent out as fast as possible. The ecu said back: You take it easy! Your talking way too fast. And shut down programming mode.
So much for spending a lot of effort to make our hardware/software faster 😂 The fix? Use a ten year old laptop and wait patiently.

  11. ”Customer declined repairs”….. haunting us normal brained people out there…. How effin stoopid can some people be? Not even knowing how to open air vents 😅

  12. If you live in an area where they salt the roads, the first thing i would do if i was buying a second hand vehicle … is get underneath it and see if there was a functioning frame …

  13. Not gonna lie that custom exhaust looked pretty cool. Otherwise holy shtfck, can't believe these cars are on the road and can't believe the insane dishonesty of the people that sold cars in such poor condition. Dude knew the frame was cracked and sold it without informing the buyer. Hope they got sued and had damages levied. That's some foul action right there.

  14. A local pastor pulled up to my shop with a front tire like that one on the CTS-V. There were two young children in car seats sitting in the back. As he got out and approached me he cut me off before I could say anything as I was pointing at the tire. "I know I know don't talk to me about it". Great. I told him to leave and not come back. Absolute pin-head.

  15. I find it total madness that customers can drive their death traps away after declining repair work! Makes me grateful we have annual MoT vehicle tests in the UK, and it is illegal for a workshop to allow an unsafe vehicle to drive away! "Life" it would seem, isn't very highly valued in the US!

  16. I love how 80% of the clips on these videos are either dangerously broken vehicles the customers just decline to get fixed and drive off or the customer is just too stupid to figure out why something isnt working when its literally just something like vent is closed or the stupid accessory u put on ur car interferes with function and the technician just removes it to fix it. These people shouldnt be driving if they dont know these basic things bro

  17. I can understand the person with the Jeep… I mean they already dropped 7K only to find out the bottom was rusted..

  18. These videos makes me appreciate the strict rules we have on cars in Denmark, can't imagine the legit horror of sharing the roads with people who drives around in these vehicles.

  19. Just make it mandatory to have a thorough inspection before the title can be transferred, and hold the money in escrow until it is. There are too many criminals selling unsafe vehicles.
