The black panthers didn't slowly dissipate, they were assassinated by the fbi.
Made soooooo much money off that BC back in the days in Cali, always kept that indoor Oakland shit but that BC made the most and moved the fastest back in the early 2000s

'Beester' is an alternative name for KIND BUD… commonly shortened to KB… and then covertly… Beester, right? I don't think you clarified the etymology for the name, but I may have missed it… and I may be incorrect altogether.
Really good essay/documentary/history treatise on PNW's relationship with drug use. I abs love Seattle, along with the more-common acceptability of drugs, in general. Thanks for putting this together, buddy!

This is amazingly accurate thank you for this and for preserving Northwest culture very personal for me as I grew up in the south end and had a lot of friends in Vietnamese gangs who supplied me starting in the 5th grade 😂 spent my high school years robbing Chinese houses for weed in beacon Hill with the Filipino and Samoan kids
Man, I miss the good ol days 😪 😕
I'm 31 now but lived in Lake stevens WA as a kid and was able to see first hand as ecstacy and shrooms became normal and quickly replaced by heroin and meth. It was a upper class town with kids that could ask they're parents for $100-$200 a day and dealers from Everett quickly capitalized on it. Almost over night went from finding popcan pipes and weed baggies everywhere to foil to smoke heroin and syringes everywhere. I wish I could find the memory cards I was filming everything it was crazy that so many of these parents had no idea they're mansions were turned into drug dens. Maysville and Snohomish quickly followed. But having a font row seat watching all these 14-15 year Olds turn into addicts that summer was crazy and seeing these smaller affluent towns start having robberies and security at stores from all the stealing and violence amd crimes start increasing
The Beast
I live in Olympia, and we have a pretty big drug market here, you should do a piece on the Olympia drug market, I can help with the info, and any kind of help you would need to do that video

Smuggling story turned into tweaker overdose lol
Looking for a good seed supplier. I really want to get some MAC and Pre-98 Bubba. Also the OG Northern Lights.
I was told the spice flavor comes from nutrients still in there. Either chopped too early or improper flush.
5:02 how the hell did passing out techniques to everyone ruin their flowers. Techniques if correct should actually help the quality. To me it seems everyone got in on it and grew it how ever the hell they wanted too bcus they knew it would get sent somewhere else. And those that got techniques passed on didn’t listen or just messed up, didn’t grow it properly, or completely heard the techniques wrong and probably didn’t bothered to write it down completely/& or correctly lol
5:22 and bro why do you ask people that was around or lived it. Beasters was not only Outdoor flowers from Canada. Beasters or B.C.’s as Us “NYCityers” (not “NYers”) called them Was Not Just Canadian Outdoors, we also got indoors from there. And I’m not sure if this is 100% correct so don’t quote me but we called it BC’s bcus we believed it was coming from British Columbia, but obviously what do we know we wasn’t the ones transporting/smuggling so I don’t know where the original packs came from. Like ppl do today they probably shopped all over Canada and when they got enough of what they needed or got the strains/packs they actually went there for they have it sent to the states. If you happen to be right that at one point all “Beasters” sent here was outdoor grown then it’s before my time. Or Maybe “Beasters” and “B.C’s” was actually different flowers coming from Canada. I do remember that mostly everything we got was either “Purple kush”and “OG Kush” or just “Kush” not sure if there was a difference in strain from the one called kush and og kush.. actually I think I just started calling the one called kush OG kush bcus it was denser and light green, and the one we called purple kush was always fluffier with purple in it. So me thinking I was smart thought if the fluffier one with purple is the one we called purple kush than the other kush that was visually different has to be “OG Kush” lol not sure if that was even the case. The fluffy purple one was definitely called purple kush tho and the kush well I don’t know. Didn’t smell like todays gassy smell but citrus tho
