  1. My 99 Taurus Wagon is about that bad. That and a wee bit of fire damage is all thats really wrong with it tho, only 83k miles. Wish i could fix it and have another reliable car, but ill have to trade it in to get something newer and ya know… Not falling apart lol

  2. Ouch, I don't think the custom frame/chassis I did after salvaging a hardtop sidekick for a lowered rally build cost 4 grand. I feel like Donut would have a small shop and the skills to just cut the "frame" off the shell and build a proper frame for this thing. Maybe that's asking too much of a car channel to actually be fabricators and builders. Guess that's just a product of living in bfe nowhere growing up, you learn skills to build things cheap to entertain yourself/friends.

  3. Do a RVS treatment. That should help the motor last longer. I've seen some good results using it. Quiets it down and improves MPG on old engines.

  4. I don't see it making it. It's going to end up falling apart or start having wiring ground issues and it might catch fire and burn to the ground. You got burned when you bought it so that part already happened lol

  5. I'm sorry to say but the person who sold you that car had a nice laugh at your expense. He knows he should have paid you for taking his trash away. BUT GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR TRIP/CHALLENGE. THINK IT'S GONNA COST YOU A FEW BUCKS/PARTS ON YOUR WAY. LOOK FORWARD TO UPDATES.

  6. I dont think people understand how much rust repair sucks, and how long it can take, especially if its "structural" and youre not just filling a rocker with bondo
I just did 60k work of rust repair to an industrial compactor
