Im supriced that i agree with Gene on this one, im not from the USA myself but i think late 70´s and 80´s is to old for that position at least, it is a very demanding task with great responsibilities, i think someone in their 40´s or 50´s would be optimal for that position since you at that age have a lot of experience and more calm than a younger person but still are not that old where mind and body has deteriorated that much. Very good idea to have tests to make sure that its even a suitable person regardless of age as well.
