The Honda ATC 250R 3-wheel motorcycle is the world’s most dangerous vehicle and has been banned by the US government. So, we bought it and put it through 3 tests: rollover, hill climb, and jump. Pray for Jeremiah.

Most dangerous vehicle in the world…probably some of the Japanese suicide weapons. But trikes do suck.
The center of gravity isn't any higher than a quad but the center of gravity only has to cross an imaginary line between the front and rear wheels to become unstable. Obviously, on a trike, that imaginary line is a lot closer to the center of the bike than on a quad.
The way you steer is also different. The next time you're on a bicycle and want to turn right or left, just turn the handle bars that direction. You'll fall. You don't think about it when you're riding, but if you want to turn left, first you turn right just a fraction, then left into the turn. This shifts your center of gravity into the direction of the turn.
Living in riverside in the eighties I was in my early teens. We used to drive those flipped upside down in a cactus Bush and twisted my ankle. Yeah and they're unstable yeah But I had so much fun oh my god
I grew up with two Honda 200 ATCs and several friends had them too. We converted nine acres of hilly land in IL into a big three-wheeler trail labyrinth, hauling ass between oak trees and up insane hills, creek beds and cliffs edges. For six years or so we rode like maniacs and nobody got hurt one time ever. You learn how the bike works, how to shift your weight, how to jump and land…it was a blast. It boggles my mind that these things scare young people now. Or really, it doesn't boggle my mind if I'm being honest.
I've def rolled one before
I knew a kid who had a three wheeler and we all expected him to wreck it. What we didn't expect was him to wreck it by trying to do a flip off a big tree with it.
100% you were purposely tipping that trike over on the slow speed turns…
When I was a kid my friend got one for Christmas and broke his arm about an hour later
This isn’t a bike for inexperienced drivers, apparently these guys don’t know how to ride off-road vehicles.
I used to race a Honda 250R back in the day. You could go anywhere and as long as you knew what you were doing they were as safe as any other off road vehicle. I had mine 25 feet in the air and could power slide corners at 70 miles per hour. I always felt like 4 wheelers were more dangerous because they forced you to use the front wheels to steer more. On a 3 wheeler you used your body as a counterweight and broke traction with the rear wheels to steer.
I just proves there are 500k morons
I need to put mine back together. these things are so dangerous but so much fun
I had gokart growing up. Had friends with 3 wheelers and dirt bikes. A couple of three wheeler roll overs and one or two bike laydowns through the years but the most flipped, rolled, crashed and mangled thing was the gokart.
they don't really seem any more dangerous than four wheelers
I had a buddy roll his 3 wheeler, crush bones in his face, broken arm, broken collarbone and broken leg, and he was only going maybe 15 mph when he tip/rolled it. It was pretty bad, and it wasn't long after that the ban was announced. Didn't have any complaints around our neighborhood, it was brutal and all the neighborhood kids were there when it happened. Scary stuff.
I grew up on one of these, hundreds if not thousands of hours on it, so every vehicle after has been cake to drive.
I drive a 250 Big Red around every day but it's perfectly safe becacuse I'm a Huge Baby on it at all times.
guys its clearly user error that bike was engineered to perfection
I remember a kid in my neighborhood that would wheelie one of those all day every day going up and down the streets
the 60 minutes clip also had him going 18 mph and having 2 bumps pretty close together. if they were about 20 feet or more apart, he probably would have recovered and hit the next one.
even on 4 wheelers you shouldn't put your leg out like that. plus, this is a racing trike. not really made for hill climbing. for that test, you should've gotten an atc200e or atc200es. edit: you have a 2 stroke, so you don't have the low end to truly climb that hill.
Too bad that stearing wheel sucks eh
If your 250R is topping out at 38 mph, something is wrong with it. Those will do 60-65 mph all day long stock.
If only they knew to make it like cam am two front wheels one rear, it be the best seller today.
Why am I getting sherby bangin and Justin vibes
its light the back wheels are more close to the frame then being out words
Okay donut strap a noz system to it
As a kid growing up in upstate NY and then Florida in the 80s thank God I'm alive 😂😂😂😂
Everyday is a great day when you get to watch Donut
One of my older sisters used to have one of those on her ranch. One time when we were visiting her when I was a kid- maybe 10 or so, I snuck out into the barn and went for a bit of a joyride in one of the pastures. It was all well and good until I rolled the fucking thing and almost got crushed by it. Thankfully I was alright other than some bruising, but oh boy did I learn a lesson, and I will never get on one of those things again.
The nanny state and big brother colluded to deprive you of these awesome machines. Know your machine, no problems!
Skill issues
My friend had a 3 wheeler golf cart with a steering bar instead of a steering wheel. anyways, one day I was climbing from the rear from the front and lost my balance. I proceeded to grab the steering bar to catch myself, instead i rolled the golf cart 🤣
My brother and I owned a 3 wheeler and I had it tip over MANY times Honda was the worst. Our Yamaha with the pull bar on the rear LITERALLY saved my life many times as it caught the ground before it fell on me. You tested the worst one try Yamaha
As a child, we owned 10 acres in Oklahoma. We had a golf cart, two 4 wheelers, and two 3 wheelers. I always chose the 4 wheelers if I wanted to have fun, but I chose the golf cart if I wanted to just get some place quietly. I NEVER LIKED THE 3 WHEELERS! THEY SUCK!
I knew two kids who died while riding a three-wheeler in the mid-eighties.
i had a 3 wheeler when i was a kid in the 90's
Either y’all didn’t push that thing or you were scared of it. I’ve had a few of them and all mine ran in the 70 s mph. And I never crashed but one up a straight up hill. I never even heard the power band kick in on y’all’s test. Love your vids but get a professional to do these kind of vids.
You should do a video like this comparing the 250R to a sport quad and a dirt bike. 😁
i had that bike.. and wen you learn to ride it, its not dangerous, not a bike for everybody
they actully made a 350cc 3 wheeler
I loved my grandfathers 3 wheeler when I was a teen. But they are not for amateurs, or the faint of heart lol. I dumped that thing probably a dozen times lol
Not dangerous if you know what you're doing.
yeah and if motorcycles dont lean we are all gonna die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a atv if you let your shit for brains cousin ride it without a little practice hell yeah hes gonna wreck. These vehicles are for fun so if you cant handle it dont ride it.
