I agree bc like I've heard before the sun is way stronger than these grow lights we use so it's ok for the sun to ramp up and down gradually it can afford to bc of how strong it is..while the grow lights aren't as strong so slowly going up and down isn't as necessary bc the lights aren't as hard on the plants to begin with.

Not necessary as DLI should be the target you can reach max DLI in 10-12 hours for photos depending on nutrients and environment 10 hours is 🪴👌😎
this feels wrong to me. i think its less stress on the plants waking up, and letting them know they're getting put into dark phase.
I have 2 photontek x 600w pros and i can set up custom sunrise/ sunset and i definitely have gotten better results without using the sunrise/sunset
