4. Pantyhose on all intakes and exhausts is an excellent preventative measure. And as another commenter stated, FFOF and FFHF almost always come preloaded with gnat eggs. I dry mine out completely and add some diatomaceous earth to it a week before rehydrating and using it indoors for anything.

5. Ffof has fungus gnat eggs in fresh soil. I run hot sink water through it before using and ofcoarse cold shortly after and abracadabra they are no more.
