  1. Hoping to get tickets for the upcoming Brisbane show, named my first son after Kurt, and have the ff on my neck, last time I seen them was the echoes silence patience and grace tour ❤

  2. I love Atom Willard with Against Me. But they seem to be on hiatus. Not sure how his style would mesh…but his energy would be amazing.

  3. Freese is a good drummer, but is there a reason why he hasn't really stayed with any of these big bands for long? I know he's been with the Vandals forever, but they're barely known compared to NIN, A Perfect Circle, and the other big bands he's played for.

  4. I really hope Josh gets the gig… but if not, another name that came to my mind, because I've recently seen a real old picture of both Daves together, is Dave Abbruzzese, former Pearl Jam drummer, who played on VS which is IMHO the best and most heavy PJ album… I think he would be a great fit too

  5. Roger Taylor, the drummer for the band Queen, has responded to rumors regarding his son Rufus Taylor potentially becoming the new live drummer for Foo Fighters

  6. I think I'm done with the Foos. They're last 3 albums were MEH at best. Taylor's drumming was why I stayed around. Knowing Taylor was worked into the ground and for the Foo's too keep going just a year later is weird.

  7. For real though, to me there’s only one clear choice: Dave. And he can be a singing drummer front man like Phil Collins. Who was I think the first and last to pull that off??? Oh, there’s also Anderson.Paak (that guy is such an incredible artist, love his first two albums) but he doesn’t front on the drums much anymore. FF already have two more guitarists, and Pat plays lead so 🤷🏼‍♀️ there would be no actual need to add anyone new at all. To me, little nobody writing comments on a YouTube video (Believe me, I know my place in the world and where I am 🤣), it makes sense…and kind of would be a really honorable move as far as Taylor’s legacy, and his truly irreplaceable place in the band.

I mean, when Bonham-greatest-rock-drummer-of-all-time (yes, it is all one word God damn it) died, that was the end of Zeppelin as a band. They literally said no one could ever sit in his seat. And that Zeppelin would never be Zeppelin with someone new. So, they ended it. All this happened long before I was even born. But thus ended the progression of my favorite band of all time. But I digress. 😂

FF have something even the all mighty Zeppelin didn’t. They have a Dave Grohl. Who as we know, is also one badass drummer. Zeppelin didn’t have another badass drummer already in the tuck. Robert Plant wasn’t hopping on any kits. 🙅🏼‍♀️ But in Foos case, Dave could do the drumming on stage while still singing; and he’d be laying all the drumming in recording. No one new would be coming in to fill anything.

I don’t know, maybe I’m too old school classic rock and roll, but to me, it makes sense. 🤷🏼‍♀️He could do it. Give old Phil Collins a run for his money. (That’s a joke. Of course. Phil is awesome. But he’s no Bonham/Hawkins/Grohl 😂).
