  1. My mom had an amazing sense of humor. She made everything fun. From yard work to wallpapering the kitchen, we were often holding our stomached laughing at our ridiculousness. She taught me to laugh and make fun of myself. Because of her, I’m not easily offended.

  2. 4:00 I feel she just says things for shock factor. Super juvenile and takes no effort or talent. Shame to put her on the same video as a great like Jo koy

  3. This is phenomenal, hearing all these lovely stories and that feeling of bondage w/ the two is what makes us human and strong 💪🏾. Whomever is reading this. I love you, love yourself & love mom 👵🏿

  4. This was so terrific, funny and beautiful. My mom became my best friend after college, then she died of AIDS at 62. Never in any risk group; it just happened, and she was a true inspiration, raising two kids alone with no assistance from anyone or anything. She had a cunning, legal side and made it work. Her story is truly one of a kind, so much so, I wish I had the talent to get on stage and bring parts of her life to life. I could make it hilarious, because I was born in 1954, still look great (so I'm told) and I'm a people person. I really wish I could; it would be great therapy at this point in my life.

  5. I have taken responsibility for myself by not posting everything I write. Only about half of my knee-jerk responses actually make it to print. That doesn't mean that every bit of vitriol gets filtered out but it does mean most of it is.

  6. This was funny, sad and sweet all at the same time. :3. Happy Mother's Day, people!! :'3. I wish my Dad was still alive to celebrate with my Mom and I…No, I'm not crying, you're crying. 🥲. :'3.
