  1. Metallica lost its metallic edge with the Loss of Jasons Playing and most of all his Vocals.. Robert just sounds like a little kid doing back up vocals in Metallica.. Jason just gave so much energy to that band that will never be recaptured without him

  2. Gotta love Jason. He minds his own business and stays creative, different than whiny Mustaine who loses no opportunity to talk shit about Metallica.

  3. Yeah yeah yeah. Hopefully he's figured out that it's all going to be out of pocked this time unlike when he toured with Newsted and was shocked to find out that he was going to get ZERO support like he was still in Metallica or something. I love the guy but damn.

  4. Let's be honest no one cared about him since he left Metallica he's lucky he get the residuals that can allow him to just screw around the rest of his life which is pretty freaking awesome! Good for him

  5. I'm mad excited to see what Jason is putting together,I have his Newsted album he put out in 2013 and I love it can't wait he's a true legend 🤘🏻🤘🏻

  6. Let's not forget he also played in Voivod and Ozzy's band for a while too! Those aren't nothing bands! Jason is the ultimate professional and carried himself well with Metallica. For those who said they should have tried to keep him, they did at first and tried like hell but he was really hurt and wouldn't return their call. When enough time passed for the wounds to start healing, he called them to re-join the band but by then, too much time had passed and they already moved on from him mentally and told him no.

  7. Metallica fans hate The Black Album, The Loads and Justice has no bass.
Also Metallica fans, Jason is the best thing that ever happened to Metallica.

  8. Metallica lost a huge part of its spirit when Newsted left. Trujillo is a great player but Metallica has never regained what they lost when Jason left. I'm still a fan but I sure do miss the Newsted days.

  9. I have nothing but respect for Jason, James and Lars put him through hell. Lars thought it would be funny to turn off his bass on AJFA that's why you don't hear any bass on the album, I can't believe he stayed as long as he did there's no way I would of put up with those two assholes¥

  10. Jason backing vocals are missed bigtime, and his power on stage. Rob can play a thousand notes on stage and probably a better player, but doesn't fit the live band like Jason did.

  11. He doesn't seem to commit much to any bands for longer than a year or two. Metallica lasted 13 years but of course he was generating a ton income.
