15. Vw golf had many anti theft systems. My friend locked his keys inside and we tried to unlock it via button and via door handle, but it doesn't work. We had to break the lock for the boot and get the keys that way.

    Thats why you couldn't open the cabrio

I just leave a note in my windows that says "I love this car more than my life, please wait till I get back and shoot me instead" I hope it gives the theif a laugh and he will leave me alone. 19. I had a 00 Integra that I locked my keys in at least 3 times a month. I got so good using a flathead screwdriver and a coat hanger that I could unlock the car just as fast that way as using my key.

20. It’s why I miss my 85 caprice. The driver door lock was broke and the ignition tumblers or wafers(whichever it had) were froze in place. Could use any key I wanted in that car at the end

28. In 1998, I accidentally locked myself out of my 1994 Mustang while at work. I was a service porter at a Ford dealership at the time. My boss used a slim Jim to pop the lock open within a few seconds.

    Every door is different, and what I've learned is that car doors are as unique as the cars themselves.
