You gonna call a guy who’s used to transporting Honda CRVs and broken down Suburbans. Of course he’s gonna ruin your Ferarri. Pay more for shipping a car like that, duh. Dont ruin his business
Don’t be cheap. And call the insurance company you are supposed to have
Amazing how many people can't drive a stick shift.
I'm dumb enough to not be able to drive a manual but at least I'm smart enough not to try with one of them super cars.. no thanks I about broke my mom's SUV with her screaming in my ear.. no I'm good I'll just drive an automatic I guess.. the idea of learning how to drive a manual gives me PTSD for real lol
There is a lady with an automatic, yes, automatic, that takes 20 times to backup, and she's like riding the converter the whole time. This is just out of their driveway, takes like 5 minutes, non stop revving
Lesson learned, don't let inexperienced truckers drive your car onto the truck.
I have the time and the money I always pick up my own cars
I bet these stories don’t end.. i work in the trucking industry and have seen things… terrible things
.
It's you guys job to communicate with those guys on their understanding of the cars!!!
Idiots dont know how to handle cars
I feel like u guys should be paying for this for letting ransom truck drivers drive racing/sports cars
This is why you have your own delivery service like Tesla. They drive the cars to their customers and drop it off at their house.
SHill award of the day to this liar. He can't even look the camera in the eye without fading..
Just maybe you should have learnt the first time to supervise these guys with you expensive toys…. durp.
Scumbags
Yea my experience sucked but didn't lose the clutch…just the front bumper
There's an old saying I learned young, 'STOP WHILE YOU ARE AHEAD' but it's fair to say 'Common sense is not to common'
What happens when people who know absolutely nothing about Supercars drives one and thinks “yeah she’s got a lil more go about her but it’ll be just like driving my truck”
At this point I don't believe him anymore seems like he likes free parts
Why wouldn’t this dealer advice the buyer on transporting the vehicle and that it required specialist lifting or ramps…very bad service on the sellers part.
Bro you can't "cook a clutch" in 5 mins lol
Lots of cheap car transporters out there. We had a transporter show up to pick up a car with a flatbed heavy equipment trailer. Obviously he crushed in the rockers trying to load it. He realized the damage he caused to the vehicle and did the only logical thing. Stuck the car in a parking spot with the keys in it and drove off before anyone could catch him.
pull it or push in neutral
I don't care how shitty of a driver you can be no way a good clutch gets cooked off trying to get on a ramp. Was more than likely already on its way out and trying to sue someone to cover costs.. imagine trying to make honest money by delivering vehicles and a shoddy looking car salesman gives you a car to deliver needing expensive work. Then try to put a claim on the tow driver after having a difficult time getting the car on a ramp.. make this story make sense. This dude is a scammer. Listen to his wording
Truck drivers drive manuals for a living make this story make more sense
Save the manuals…. From dumb ass ppl 😂😂
This, is why automatic cars are better. Just so much less hogwash.
This is why you don't use the cheapest company available and explain exactly what it is you need moved and the equipment required to move it, but no we go with the cheapest generic company we can find and not a specialized for exotics transport company
I had a clutch replaced and the guy driving out of the shop literally fucking destroyed the brand new one…i was pissed
just say you do not know how to order the correct equipment to move you cars..
nightmare , imagine renting these cars to posers who barely can drive
How can you beat the hell out of it driving fast but the clutches burns out practically standing still
Americans can't drive stick. I've met a lot of Americans who say they can but because none of them have learned formally how to drive stick they've just picked up every bad habit the person that showed them how to drive stick had. I had to take my driving test in a stick shift car because I was born in Europe.
Either pay for a good transport or drive the damn thing yourself. why buy it if it's just gonna be towed because you don't wanna add miles to it.
They need multiple firm kicks in the nuts
So super cars can't go up somewhat steep inclines?💀
Maybe you should explain to the truck drivers not to cook the super cars clutches
Welcome to my world i have to deal with clowns like this all day that have no idea how to load or unload a supercar and will under cut us by 99%. Not just the clowns doing the job then i have to deal with the moron who has a half a million pound car but wants the cheapest price for a transport and ends up with the clown who rips of his 10k bumper. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
How? I smack the shit outta my clutch on a daily and she's still breathing. I can't imagine it's even possible to roast it that quick, twice.
I hate it when rich people are dumb
I'm sorry but if you're not going to rent the correct ramps to use you're just abusing idiot customers for more money then making them look like the bad guys because they're stupid. They have to get a clutch, and I'm sure they make clients sign something so they can write themselves a blank check on labor for the damages to the clutch plus cost of parts. Scumbags got no shame
I won't lie, we had some motorcycles transported by a third party logistics company like this and its mighty expensive for both parties. the reason why the trucker won't earn much is because the logistics company pockets all of it. nevermind normal dealerships though, if you're selling a car that's over 200k that bitch better be in a wooden box and transported on a container carrier. like why would you EVER give a third party the keys and the reigns to an unfathomably expensive car.
