  1. A friend of mine drove a rear wheel drive vehicle. He lost acceleration and looked out the drivers rear view just as the Axle slipped out of the diff housing. I asked him if he heard a noise and he said yes but he thought it would go away. The bearing was pressed on and held in by the bearing. When the balls in the race wore and fell out the Axle wondered off. Not a c clip type.
Not a word of a lie. He was an engineer.
I told him to flush out the diff to get out all the grindings. Didn't do it.
Funnily, he didn't have a problem.
The good old days. Why were they good??
We managed to make it thru them.
He also drove it so long that the front disc pads fell out. The fins on the front rotors had a paper thin amount of rotor face that held the fins in place. Slightly undersized????

  2. Wheels fall off?!? I drive a lot, up to 40,000 miles annually and I drive those vehicles literally til the wheels fall off. I've lost three front wheels on different vehicles which is quite the thrill at highway speeds and depending on how the braking system is set up, the brakes fail too. I now automatically replace front wheel bearings at 200 k. The speed on how quickly a bad bearing can deteriorate is concerning. Don't ignore that wobble.

  3. I guess the caliper got stuck because Frozen lines an the differential was frozen solid from the looks no one's really explaining this video correctly except for the seized caliperThat was ice in the differential if I'm not mistaken either solid ice of some kind of epoxy most likely ice it's kind of a difficult one but it looks like the differential was I don't know how it ran I don't know everybody's making all these comments but nobody described he went from caliper 2 showing us the differential if I'm not mistaken a frozen differential

  4. Man, you must live in the cheapest part of the world, judging by the messed up shit you post. I’ve seen some wheel bearings ready to fall off, but I think you take the cake with what I’d classify as “extreme problems” lol keep ‘em coming

  5. The rear brakes on my old truck would only ever lock up one side, I took the other side off and the caliper was split in half the pads had fallen out and the rotor was not much thicker than a piece of paper, I just stuck another wheel on and said "Fuck that"
