1. For a bright kid it's mind-boggling that he couldn't understand that there was a legitimate security risk for Mr Musk. I don't know if he played it out right but he sure missed an opportunity for a nice position in the organization that could have paid that 5k a week. OTOH he may be still ticking the wrong boxes to put up with having around especially if what he had to offer was severely limited.

If Elon musk takes notice of you and it's because of something you've done in the field of technology and he offers you $5,000 you tell him "No sir you keep the $5,000, I just want a chance to work for one of your great companies!" He probably would have gave you a job cuz he probably would have thought you handled the situation like a boss but if he offers you $5,000 and you demand 50,000 well now he just thinks of you as another fucktard trying to stick his hands in my pocket…
